Highlander In Forcola

We ate at this beautiful place for the first time on my birthday. What can I say? It's truly a beautiful, well-kept, clean, and quaint place. The woman who served us was incredibly kind and available to answer any questions and offer advice on the food. We ordered several items to try as many dishes as possible...the inevitable pizzoccheri, fabulous risotto with bresaola and bitto, a stunning cold cuts and cheese platter, sciatt (my favorite dish) among the best I've ever eaten, and then the polenta taragna, to die for, all washed down with the truly delicious house wine. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough dessert because the portions are so generous. I highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, loves Valtellina and its traditional dishes. I'll definitely be back soon. I'm curious to try the other dishes, which looked really inviting. So, see you soon, and thanks again for everything.

It's not a given to say you've eaten good food, but that's exactly what happened. Nor is it a given to find yourself in an environment where the courtesy of Luca, Carolina, and Alessia lets you savor the dishes with genuine pleasure. We ate very well, yes, but we also had fun. Even though it was Sunday (lots of tourists, busy waiters, reserved tables), the staff was truly courteous and attentive. Really beautiful location.

Particular and characteristic location, good service and despite the crowded place the wait wasn't long... the burgers were very good, the polenta taragna stew was also very good, different from what I was used to and didn't meet my expectations... Too bad the cheese wasn't mixed well in the polenta... Improvable.... If I were to return to the area I would go back there.

Typical food in a wonderful place! I recommend stopping there after the trails or visiting the Tibetan bridge...

Friendly and efficient staff Beautiful atmosphere... outdoor wooden tables in the shade; a small playground (slides, swings, castle, and sandpit with shovel, bucket, and everything else!). Clean outdoor restroom. Very good food... only complaint: small portions.

Young, friendly, dynamic, and competent service. Good cold cuts, good sciatt, and excellent risotto. The sausage sandwich was good but dry. The apple pie also needs improvement. I recommend it.

Located near the Tibetan bridge, or bridge in the sky, in Valtellina, this enchanting restaurant overlooks and without reservations the owners do everything to find us even a small place for two people... wonderful... well what can I say... 5 stars is the maximum that can be given and it is all deserved for the welcome, food and bill... everything perfect! Il locale, in legno, dispone di tavoli sia nella parte interna che esterna (in una piccola veranda adiacente alla struttura), inoltre esternamente sono presenti delle casette sempre in legno dove è possibile consumare sia il pranzo che una merenda/colazione. Il menù non è molto vario ma sono presenti diverse scelte del territorio e tutti i piatti ordinati sono risultati buoni e di ottima qualità. I costi sono nella media e legittimati dalle porzioni abbondanti che vengono servite. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Assolutamente consigliato a chi desidera consumare un delizioso pasto, con una vista meravigliosa (a pochi passi dal ponte nel cielo) in compagnia di un ambiente informale e conviviale.
