Harry's Grill In Trieste

The service and menu aren't up to par with a Michelin-starred restaurant. Nothing more than an average restaurant.

What an experience! Kitchen outdid themselves. Had the Sea Sample Dinner Great service from one individual who seemed knowledgable on the wine list.( server was lacking in attitude and general friendliness, would have been a perfect 5 without her off behavior) but the good made up for it. The wine and drinks selected were great

Took my mum here for her 67th birthday. All the staff there were so friendly and accommodating and made it a very special evening. Amazing to sit right on the piazza as the sun sets and everything lights up. Definitely won't forget this one!

We went to this restaurant for my wife's birthday and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. I found the menu to be original, and the rabbit in particular caught my attention. I could almost say it was the best I've ever eaten. The staff was also courteous and discreet, and the elegance of the setting did the rest. We'll definitely be back.

To paraphrase one of Francis Scott Fitzgerald's most famous novels... "Tender Is the Night"... this place is the absolute best in Trieste for anyone who appreciates elegance, politeness, good taste, excellent food, superb service, a rare kindness in these times of global rudeness, and prices in line with the high level of service offered, even to non-humans (i.e., our three dogs), including musical accompaniment for dinner. I’d like to start first by saying the location and atmosphere is super, I don’t think anywhere else in the city compared. The front of house staff were very friendly and welcoming however from that point the service declined. We were given menus without a wine/drink list and had to ask for them. The food was served promptly and was presented superbly, however lacked any real flavour and some dishes lacked seasoning. It felt the menu was complicated but lacked execution. We weren’t asked once if we wanted an additional drink or top up. When the food was served, it was plonked onto our laps without any introduction. We had better meals for a fraction of the price whilst in Trieste. Overall, a gorgeous setting with real potential but poorly executed.

Contrary to some reviews, I have to say the staff is friendly and the food is of a decent standard. The wine list is a bit limited for a 5-star hotel, but I made a good choice with a Schiopetto Pinot Grigio from the region. I'll definitely stop by tomorrow for at least a Limoncello Spritz. It should also be mentioned that you're sitting in the front row at Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia.

A wonderful experience, impeccable service in an extremely pleasant setting in the "good living room of Trieste"

I entered, drawn by the elegance of the place, with its meticulous attention to detail, and after ordering a plate of basil gnocchi, I was delighted by the high quality of the food and the kindness of the attentive and meticulous staff. I then decided to indulge in a dessert, the "three-chocolate mousse," which was truly remarkable!!! I must say, it's an experience I highly recommend!

Abbiamo cenato per festeggiare il nostro anniversario di matrimonio. Menù vario a la carte o degustazione,noi abbiamo optato per la prima scelta. Sapori intensi e connubi azzeccatissimi...la Lingua di manzo,special guest assieme allo shabu shabu di branzino , al roll di coniglio e concludendo con due ottimi dolci. Servizio giovane ed attento,menzione va alla sommelier,tanto simpatica quanto preparata. Il tutto in una location mozzafiato. GRAZIE!!!
