As always, a must for eating good sushi.

Many Japanese restaurants overseas lack a Japanese flair or have strange decorations, but this restaurant had a truly Japanese atmosphere! The staff were Japanese, and it was a relief to be able to converse in Japanese for the first time in a while. The lunch seemed reasonably priced, and I enjoyed a delicious sashimi set meal. There was a book corner with a sign saying "Please help yourself," so I picked up a book. 📚️ The clientele was about half local and half Japanese. Some locals were there for a luncheon. It was extremely appreciated to receive Japanese service during my months of travel.

It has lost the quality it had a few years ago...

Fresh fish but overall mediocre food, high prices, modern atmosphere.

The food was very good and fresh. We had sushi and wagyuu, both very tasty. To order wagyuu, the minimum is 2 portions. The staff is friendly and does their best to be as helpful as possible, but the language is a huge barrier, their English as well as Japanese knowledge is limited. For example, they have two types of wagyuu in the menu (one with vegetables and sauce, one without). We ordered the plain one, and showed the item in the menu, but received the other :)) Since the price was the same, and the food was delicious and a new experience, we ate the one we received :) In a Japanese restaurant I would expect a Japanese atmosphere and native staff, however that was not the the case. The overall atmosphere was nice, but 100% European.
