The best pasta I've had not only in Brindisi, but in my life. The atmosphere is classic, Italian, warm, while it was cold outside. They greeted me even close to closing time. The carmeriere who served us is a sweetheart: polite, elderly, kind, patient, super smart, and efficient. A thousand out of ten for him. (If you go, leave a good tip). I highly recommend the house wine: 1 liter (by the carafe) 6 euros. Great wine. I want to go back and I WILL. What a beautiful place. Simple as it should be and perfect.

A large group of us came for a festive occasion. The menu was superb, with delicious appetizers, porcini mushroom ravioli, and exceptional sea bass. The waiter was impeccably polite, and the owners, Sandro and Teresa, made you feel at home. The place was beautifully refrigerated. Everything was perfect. We'll be back.

We had a blue crab with pasta, a carbonara and a delicious fried fish.

In a word: Spectacular. Excellent cuisine. When I'm in Brindisi, I always go to La Calendula, a family-run restaurant. Chef Alessandro and his wife Teresa are wonderful people; every time I go, they make me feel at home. Excellent value for money. I recommend it.
