Years may pass and locations may change, but Chef Fiorini's cuisine remains an exceptional treat for our palates. A welcoming and easily accessible restaurant in the city center, the traditional dishes are generous, just like they were in the old days, before today's minimalist gourmet cuisine existed, using fresh and delicious ingredients. Finally, the family-run atmosphere makes guests feel at home even when dining out. Prices are much lower than usual, so we'll return again...and again...and again.

La Calendula – A seafood delight in the heart of Brindisi ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect lunch at La Calendula, right in the center of Brindisi! The scampi sauce was spectacular, balanced and rich in flavor, with the freshest scampi. The mixed fried fish was crispy and dry, and the grilled fish was flavorful and cooked to perfection. It all ended with a simply delicious lemon sorbet. Super fresh fish, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere: highly recommended!

Everything was delicious. We ordered the paccheri with scampi for our first course. To say the sauce was fabulous is an understatement. The paccheri were cooked to perfection, the scampi were super fresh, and the sauce was spectacular. For our second course, we ordered mixed grilled fish and fried mixed seafood, both of which were delicious. The fish was fresh and light, and the fried seafood was truly excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try the traditional seafood cuisine of Brindisi. It felt like a Sunday at home with all my relatives.

Best pasta I've ever had, not just in Brindisi, but in my life. The atmosphere is classic Italian, warm even though it was cold outside. They welcomed me even though it was close to closing time. The carmeriere who served us is a sweetheart, polite, elderly, kind, patient, super smart and efficient. A thousand stars for him. (If you go, leave a good tip). I highly recommend the house wine, 1 liter (in a carafe) 6 euros. Excellent wine. I want to and WILL go back there. What a beautiful place. Simple as it should be and perfect.
