Gustavo Braceria In Galatone

My family and I had lunch at Gustavo's and were truly satisfied. The set menu was meticulously prepared, with every course beautifully presented, everything delicious and made with quality ingredients. The attention to special dietary needs was also excellent: there was a gluten-free version of the menu, with equally delicious alternatives. A restaurant where you eat well and are welcomed with kindness—we'll gladly return!

Vague memories of a lost identity

There's a balanced tasting menu here. Five starters, a main course, and a meat dish. The price/performance ratio is very good. We were delighted.

We visited Gustavo's and had a very positive overall experience. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and approachable, always ready to accommodate guests' needs. The location is magnificent, with a lovely little garden ideal for summer lunches and dinners, and a well-kept, clean, and elegant interior with a rustic touch that makes it welcoming. The menu is a fixed price and includes five appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a dessert (drinks and cover charge not included). The food is excellent, high-quality, and prepared with attention to detail. The only real flaw was the portion size. There were five of us, and the courses were served as a single dish to be shared, resulting in a taste rather than a portion, so much so that we had to ask for more of the second course. There was a bit of a wait between courses, which is understandable given the crowd and the number of seats, but otherwise it was a positive experience. Thank you.

A very tasty 4-course fixed menu; 5 different appetizers to share, delicious homemade pasta, excellent pig and for dessert tiramisu.

Good Italian restaurant, typical local cuisine

A pleasant place with both indoor and outdoor seating in a well-maintained setting. The dinner menu is a fixed one (we didn't know that!!), and the dishes are generous, although the quality could be better. Good wine list. The quality/price ratio isn't quite right. I recommend it if you want to spend an evening with friends in a nice place, enjoying a hearty meal.

Fantastic really local Italian diner! People that complain that you do not get enough food, are wrong. All together you have more than enough for a very fair price! A must do!

Great service and a pleasant setting. Fixed menu with traditional Salento dishes, all good but nothing exceptional. At 40 euros per person, though, the price feels really excessive for the type of food and location. Worth trying if budget isn’t an issue, but definitely on the expensive side.
