We ate well. The restaurant offers a set menu. I've been back and can confirm that the food is excellent. The tasting menu is truly exquisite!

We visited Gustavo's and had a very positive overall experience. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and approachable, always ready to accommodate guests' needs. The location is magnificent, with a lovely little garden ideal for summer lunches and dinners, and a well-kept, clean, and elegant interior with a rustic touch that makes it welcoming. The menu is a fixed price and includes five appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a dessert (drinks and cover charge not included). The food is excellent, high-quality, and prepared with attention to detail. The only real flaw was the portion size. There were five of us, and the courses were served as a single dish to be shared, resulting in a taste rather than a portion, so much so that we had to ask for more of the second course. There was a bit of a wait between courses, which is understandable given the crowd and the number of seats, but otherwise it was a positive experience. Thank you.

Good Italian restaurant, typical local cuisine

A pleasant place with both indoor and outdoor seating in a well-maintained setting. The dinner menu is a fixed one (we didn't know that!!), and the dishes are generous, although the quality could be better. Good wine list. The quality/price ratio isn't quite right. I recommend it if you want to spend an evening with friends in a nice place, enjoying a hearty meal.

Fantastic really local Italian diner! People that complain that you do not get enough food, are wrong. All together you have more than enough for a very fair price! A must do!

Great service and a pleasant setting. Fixed menu with traditional Salento dishes, all good but nothing exceptional. At 40 euros per person, though, the price feels really excessive for the type of food and location. Worth trying if budget isn’t an issue, but definitely on the expensive side.

Tasting dinner with friends: Five superb appetizers, excellent paccheri with three tomatoes and pecorino cream, and the black pig (cooked at a low temperature) with potatoes is also excellent! The children's menu includes pasta and pork. The tasting menu costs €35, the children's menu €20, drinks are not included. Impeccable service and a magical location. Congratulations!

The restaurant is very well-kept and charming; we sat in the outdoor garden area. The menu is unique: it's a fixed menu, featuring several appetizers (more than satisfactory), a shared first course, which means each person gets a taste, the same goes for the second course, and a dessert. All for €35 per person, excluding drinks. I appreciated the preparation of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients; the only thing I would change is the portions of the first course and dessert, which I felt were too small. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful location, well-kept and well-attended. The service was professional and fast. There are two sore points in my review: 1) the menu was fixed (there was no choice at 35 euros for adults), the lesser of two evils. 2) the portions were brought cumulatively and counted. For example, the paccheri pasta was counted (5 per adult...max 6), the main course (excellent) was black pork...4 strips per adult with a side of mashed potatoes to share, which alone was a portion (a forkful each), to which, if you were lucky, you could try half a baked potato (small). But the most amazing thing (which seemed like a joke) was the dessert!!!! ...a tiramisu served in Lilliputian portions, made with cream and a ladyfinger ring, served in a mini glass container the size of a coffee cup! So in conclusion, if you want to diet and have no problem with spending... this is the right place, otherwise, if you want to eat... you will have to opt for something else. (August 19, 2025)
