The location of the restaurant is welcoming and reflects the traditional Salento style, but suffers from narrow and closed spaces. As soon as I entered, I noticed the air was not very fresh and there were too many people, which made the environment uncomfortable. The organization of the tables is lacking, with the absence of cloth tablecloths and napkins.
An unpleasant episode was the request for a normal Coke, which was instead served with a Coke Zero, a non-negligible error. Furthermore, the arrangement of the tables on different floors creates inconvenience for guests. The lack of bread at the table is another negative point, as is the frying which was excessively oily. However, the service stands out for the courtesy of the staff, even if important elements such as a physical menu are missing, making the experience less complete.
After the appetizers, the service slowed down: we waited a long time before the waiter came to remove the dirty dishes and check the progress of the meal. The wait for the first one was three quarters of an hour and, although good, it did not fully meet expectations. The bathroom, small and poorly maintained, with dirty windows and an impractical sink in the corridor, reflects an internal organization that leaves something to be desired.
The absence of a basket for cold wine was another sore point. The lack of background music contributes to a monotonous atmosphere. One embarrassing moment was when a waiter, while serving a pan-like dish, unapologetically dropped a bottle of wine, simply throwing napkins on the table to clean up the stain.
The second course, which arrived shortly after, was a pleasant surprise: the very tender suckling pig served with mashed potatoes seasoned with sesame seeds was excellent and hot. However, the potatoes arrived cold and slightly battered, and the grilled vegetables on the side, including cabbage, were not equally appreciated.
The dessert, a tiramisu served in a cup, was good, but the portion was definitely too small, suitable only for a taste.
In summary, the culinary experience showed ups and downs: the courteous service and some quality dishes contrasted with poor management and several organizational shortcomings that negatively affected the overall experience.

Excellent food even if the portions especially of the first course are quite small, service a little slow, so much so that the courses arrived very slowly. All in all, however, an experience worth repeating.

Fixed menu but you'll find what you're looking for.
The piglet, main course, was exceptional.
I would have appreciated a slightly larger dessert. Fast service.

Come hungry and calm with the starters, leave space for last and best. I wasn't that smart 😂
Its a nice place with a set menu so you don't fass over your order, just relax and have good time. The food will arrive - we had 5 starters, pasta, pork... Wine and dine. Level of food was not even with some better than others but a positive experience all in all

After seeing the TV series, remarkable restaurants of the world on Channel 4 in the UK, we decided that we must book a table here while we were in Puglia. We were shown to our table by a very efficient and capable waitress who explained that there was no menu proceeded to tell us what would we have during with the evening. We were seated outside as was everyone else the restaurant was very busy and because of the weather there was no one inside. I don't know if the husband or wife Team were not there that evening and there was only three staff to attend a full house outside with two very large parties. The food thoughout was good but not memorable. The one waiter seem to be only Training. I was very unsure what to do a waitress who initially was fantastic was quite attentive but was obviously stretched to a limit each course was brought to the table in quite a rush and was just placed there without any explanation as to what we were eating.The staff seemed to lose interest. After the meal was finished we were left alone with no offer of coffee so we paid the bill. When we got up to leave no one said thank you or goodbye. Hopefully it was just one of those bad days
