A very well-kept place: beautiful outdoor spaces and a welcoming and quaint interior. Generous portions, delicious food, and excellent prices. The staff was very friendly!! Highly recommended!

About 20-25 minutes walk from the center of Bressanone (uphill) there is this farm surrounded by nature with a wonderful view of Bressanone and the valleys... we were immediately welcomed by the very kind and helpful waiters (unlike what I read from other reviews)... we tasted various dishes such as a platter with speck cured meats and different types of cheeses, some of which were very particular... accompanied by different types of bread, one of which was fennel. very good. We then had an excellent goulash soup and a trio of first courses with spinach dumpling, some crescents (I don't remember the exact name) again filled with spinach and a cheese dumpling. Homemade first courses excellent as is all their cuisine. The dish with speck eggs and potatoes is also excellent. For desserts we took a Bavarian cream and a chocolate pudding with cream and strawberries, good (especially the cream) but not at the level of the savory dishes. Mixed platter, goulash soup, trio of first courses, eggs with speck and potatoes, two desserts, 2 bottles of water and a half of wine 78 euros.

Very beautiful farm where we had lunch enjoying truly delicious and genuine typical Trentino dishes, from starters to desserts, at a more than honest price. Thanks to the owner who allowed us to park the camper to visit the splendid Bressanone. Massai family.

This was our second lunch at this magnificent place. Just 6 minutes from the center of Bressanone, you can find authentic South Tyrolean cuisine, with high-quality ingredients and generous portions. The dessert is a real treat to finish the meal. Highly recommended.

Gasthof Talbauer

04/11/2025: The Talbauer Inn can be reached via hiking trail no. 23. The starting point is the Tiroler Kreuz (Tyrolean Cross). Alternatively, you can walk up the forest road. Both routes take about an hour and involve some steep uphill sections. Once you arrive at the Talbauer, there's a terrace with a magnificent view. We had goulash and Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake), both of which were delicious.
17/10/2025: Always happy to come back. The food has maintained its standard over the years.

03/11/2025: A wonderful hotel for relaxation! The hotel is very tastefully furnished, and the rooms are spacious and inviting. Besides the remarkable friendliness of the staff, the excellent food is a particular highlight. There's even a menu available at breakfast. The evening menu is exceptionally good, and the portions are generous. We felt very comfortable for four days. Even though the location is somewhat off the beaten track in South Tyrol, the journey there is definitely worthwhile!
01/11/2025: A pleasant hotel in a beautiful location, away from the hustle and bustle of the Adige Valley. The modernization was very successful, preserving the original character of the building, which is situated right in the heart of Our Lady of the Woods. The rooms are very beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home at all times. We were treated to imaginative and highly creative cuisine, which places great emphasis on local produce and herbs. First-class multi-course dinners (part of our half-board arrangement) and an excellent breakfast made our stay a truly enjoyable experience. Many thanks to the Kofler-Mocatti family. We would love to return.
