The Bagat restaurant in Lavena Ponte Tresa, on the road towards Brusimpiano, has been renovated and now has a pleasantly modern feel. Light jazz music creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Food:
Good quality, but the flavors could be a bit more adventurous. However, the portions are very large – you're guaranteed to leave satisfied. Rating: 4.3
Ambiance & Decor:

Delicious restaurant.
Impeccable service (Asia served us, a cheerful, precise, and very nice girl!) and tonight we tried their "outside Milan" saffron risotto with French-style ossobuco!!! Fun!! I've been looking for it for a while... I finally found it! Delicious!
Congratulations to Chef Nicolas! For his skill and initiative! Keep up the good work!
P.S. The playlist for the evening was also excellent.

We chose Il Grotto Bagat for our wedding lunch and couldn't have asked for anything better. The food was excellent, with generous portions and attention to every detail. The service was impeccable: the staff were always present, attentive, and professional, without ever being intrusive.
The elegant atmosphere made the day even more special. They accommodated our every request, from the menu to the room decor, from the cake to the wines, demonstrating great availability and extraordinary care.
Everything was simply perfect. We recommend Il Grotto Bagat to anyone looking for a unique experience, characterized by quality, attention, and authentic hospitality.

The room was cheap, but nothing more. It wasn't really clean, and the bedsheets smelled terribly of fabric softener. The bathroom was partially damaged and not properly cleaned. If the owners continue like this, a complete renovation will soon be necessary. It's a shame, as the restaurant has been lovingly designed.

We had lunch at this restaurant overlooking the lake and had a great meal. Be careful with the portions... they're huge 😅 The pizza is also really good.
It's perfect for a business lunch, but I think it's also recommended for dinner.
