We celebrated my son's 18th birthday at a beautiful place on the lake, excellent service, and friendly staff, especially Asia, a very kind woman who was available to meet our every need. Excellent food 😊 I recommend it!

We went for the first time at lunchtime with the set menu... good selection... excellent quality... and friendly service. We'll definitely be back.

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. We enjoyed excellent, perfectly cooked meals. Frankly, we have absolutely no complaints: everything was of very high quality. The staff, both the waiters and waitresses, were excellent: welcoming, helpful, and very friendly. We were traveling with children, and the service was impeccable, which was truly appreciated. We will gladly return and will recommend this establishment to everyone we know without hesitation.

I'm particularly fond of this place because of some wonderful experiences I had while staying there. We visited Lugano in April 2025 with a fairly large group, and our choice fell on the Grotto Bagat Hotel and Restaurant. Let's just say it was a truly wonderful stay. It's located very close, less than 4 minutes, to the Swiss border, allowing for immediate access to Lugano, which is less than a 20-25 minute drive away. Furthermore, the rooms are very well-kept and clean. Towels and shower products are provided, and there's even a mini-fridge and a TV. We all stayed in rooms with perfect access to the terrace, and I must say that watching the sunset over the lake early in the morning is simply enchanting. A peaceful and relaxing sleep awaits you, as the beds are very well-kept and comfortable. Above all, the corridors are quiet, and the area allows for both pleasant excursions and walks, as well as experiencing the bustling city of Lugano in the heart of the city. The most appreciated aspect was the kindness and expertise of the staff, who were always smiling and available to help the entire group in a friendly and thorough manner (GREAT JOB, GUYS!!!) Breakfast was also included in the morning, and it was a great alternative to having breakfast at the bar near the border. If you prefer, there are several restaurants in the area, although I think it's easier to dine at the hotel restaurant. There are free parking spaces on site, allowing for instant access to the property. This stay was so impactful that we didn't think twice about rebooking a second stay a year later. A well-deserved 5 stars, and a big hug to all the staff who made this trip a happy and wonderful memory :)

We only went to the restaurant one evening because we were passing through, but I wanted to share my thoughts on the place, the quality of everything, and the staff. Everything was perfect!
