Grottardito In Polignano a mare

One of the best restaurants in Polignano. We went for lunch in a well-kept building with an elegant and refined interior dining room, with a view directly out onto the sea from the windows—a truly unique view, absolute silence. Agnolotti with grouper, mezzemaniche with clams and datterino tomatoes, spaghetti with sbirulina seaweed—each dish was better than the next. The fried calamari was exceptional, light and delicate, a truly superior pleasure after the excellent first courses. The wine list was comprehensive and of excellent quality and variety. The only flaw...but truly unique...at the end of a truly enjoyable seafood meal...mango sorbet...not lemon...absolutely worth a try. Thank goodness the coffee was worthy of a gourmet. The final bill was absolutely affordable considering the quality offered and the first-rate location. An experience definitely worth repeating.

A charming place with delicious food. We ordered the tasting menu: tuna tartare, spinach tartlets, shrimp, and mixed fish. I was already stuffed after that. For the main course, pasta with mussels and tomatoes was amazing. Then came the fish and deep-fried octopus, which were very good, but I simply couldn't finish them all. Finally, dessert and fruit were served. A bottle of water and a local wine are included with each pair. The waiter is very kind and helpful. I recommend this place. It's worth booking a table in advance.

Beautiful restaurant on the top floor. It was very quiet when we were there. The food was excellent, especially the fish. Nice jazzy background music.

Incredible location, we were on the terrace overlooking the sea... on a fantastic, windless evening!!! We ate a raw seafood appetizer recommended by the owner Leonardo, who guaranteed the freshness of the product. First, paccheri with lobster... For the second course, he willingly let me try the sea bass he had just prepared for others. Francesco was also incredibly kind... and finally, Sweet and bitter... Everything was excellent quality at a fair price: €120 for two. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to eat fresh fish in a location with a sea view... Everything 🔝 😍

Best tuna that I have ever had, beautiful location and super nice service. On point ☝️

Relatively basic and plain food, more or less same as the wine. All, in my humble opinion, misaligned with paid price. Possibly frustration came from wrong expectations and good opinions of other visitors.
