The Grotta Ardito Restaurant was a fantastic discovery during our trip to Puglia. First of all, the restaurant is located in a quieter area of ​​the Polignano seafront, which guarantees a special and unique view of the city. The menu is full of delicious options and it would be really difficult to choose just one favourite. We chose a fish-based menu, but the restaurant also offered many land dishes. From starters to desserts, the restaurant offers very rich, quality and affordable cuisine. We would like to thank all the restaurant staff for allowing us to savor some of the wonderful flavors of Puglia and we hope to return soon.

The restaurant has a beautiful sea view if you manage to find the right table and if it is not completely dark as happened to us who went there for dinner, the decor is perhaps a little too classic and pretentious, but it's just a matter of my personal taste. Good food, I only had doubts about the freshness of something, but it's okay; good appetizers, especially the octopus that I had never eaten cooked that way and the mixed fried food, good wine too. Overall everything is good, but not to leave you speechless and the service honestly could be improved a little... service a little too fast, I had to ask to change the dish to be able to better enjoy the appetizers and a smile or a little more chat would not have hurt. We ordered 2 x Menu Ardito as recommended by the waiter. The menu includes a starter, first and second courses, dessert, a bottle of wine, water and espresso. It costs €50/person. We had an overview of local dishes. Everything is delicious. Great service. It's the beginning of March, so there's not much traffic in the place. I recommend it, but during the season I recommend reserving a table. The premises are located on the first floor and overlook the sea.

A lunch with a spectacular view, delicious food. I took the Mare e Monti appetizer and the spaghetti with yellow datterino tomatoes and sea bass (I had the prawns added), all very good, really. I was struck by the kindness of the waiter, the 5 stars are above all for him, he made the difference. Advise

Locale con bella vista panoramica sul mare, personale gentile. Le portate dagli antipasti di pesce, ai primi e secondi tentano di offrire delle prelibatezze che ancora devono meglio essere elaborate dallo chef, non ritrovando nei piatti quel gusto di mare e ricercatezza che si vuole offrire. Una cucina per palati provenienti da oltre confine.

Io e la mia famiglia, oggi abbiamo festeggiato la laurea di mia figlia, abbiamo pranzato ottimamente, grazie per aver reso questo giorno indimenticabile.
