Grivola In Valtournenche

We ate in the restaurant so can’t comment on the hotel. Beautiful setting. However, it was extremely busy and the staff all appeared stressed and not particularly friendly. We were given a wine menu but no selection of other drinks/soft drinks which we borrowed from the adjacent table. Waited ages to order. When the food eventually came, it was all delicious (despite a piece of plastic being found in one of the pasta dishes - clearly evidence of rushed kitchen staff - however, the staff were apologetic and removed the dish from our bill and also gave a complimentary dessert). Overall, we were disappointed as the restaurant looked lovely and there was a great atmosphere.

The room and bathroom should have more hooks for towels and clothes. Wardrobes should have more shelves. Also, wifi is way too slow! Apart from that, we love this hotel with it's great staff. Very nice and cosy interior, very good food and perfectly located in the village with a very short walk to the chairlifts and slopes. No surprice we have returned, and will probably come another year again.

The staff in a structure is what really makes the difference: Mariapia and Ida at the reception offer a welcome like true 5-star hotel professionals, who have not failed to solve all our problems. Excellent restaurant, high quality food for Cervinia standards. The only flaw: the wellness center does not have a changing room but at the same time the windows are not mirrored and you can see everything from the outside... For the rest, I absolutely recommend 👍🏻

Fantastic location, everything perfect

Un lugar que ha ido perdiendo calidad. Bien situado. La comida muy normal, la atención justa y el precio elevado para lo que ofrece.

We were touring Italy for 15 days and this was our favorite restaurant. Went there for dinner and came back our whole stay in Breuil-Cervinia. The service is excellent and food better. You gotta try the 4 cheese pizza and the Valpolicella wine. For dessert the apple cake is just amazing.

Fantastic restaurant with top notch service. Given a warm welcome and enjoyed two fantastic meals here of authentic, home cooked Italian food. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Restaurant is busy every night but we never felt rushed. Would highly recommend.
