Grantosco In Grosseto

We came here with our 9 month old baby and the owner Camelia made us feel so warmly welcomed. She personally walked us through the different dishes of the day, and recommended the freshest catch and wine as well. Our baby was noisy but we were made to feel like family! The seafood here is excellent, ingredients are impeccable. We were even able to feed our baby some seafood and vegetables. The dessert is also very lovely - creme brûlée texture was completely perfect and delicious. Then owner’s mother and son were also there, also kind and helpful. If you want to feel like family and eat like family, come here!

We dined at Grantosco on a warm July evening and were very pleased with the food and the service. Prices were slightly higher than average, but worth the experience.

Good food, sweet and friendly service with good guidance

The GRANTOSCO restaurant in Grossetto is a truly special place, a true gem for those who love authentic Italian cuisine. The warm chef still personally welcomes her guests and passionately serves dishes prepared by herself with great care and attention to detail. The fish is very tender, the appetizers, slowly cooked, are poetry for the palate, and the desserts are a joy for all those with a sweet tooth. In a word: a place where taste still really counts: Authentic, Sincere, Extraordinary. An absolute MUST for all lovers of good food.

Fantastic Italian cousin! Everyone enjoying delicious food, a MUST visit. We had the catch of the day, really very tasty; pasta carbonara, made very special, unique, with wonderful taste composition, and finally dark chocolate mousse! Service was excellent and a very engaged owner taking care of the wellbeing of all guests.

Very good food, excellent service, very nice place, lower prices than average (of restaurants of the same level)…. we can only speak well of this place! Kind and competent owner (great advice on wine!). We liked everything!

We had great cooking here, but also atmosphere, good wine choices and very welcoming staff. The owner showed her passion for quality food and experiences in our conversation with her and the meal that we had. It is no surprise that they are Michelin rated for many years past and present. Nel cuore del centro storico di Grosseto, il ristorante Grantosco è una vera perla di raffinatezza e qualità. L’atmosfera elegante e accogliente crea il contesto perfetto per un’esperienza gastronomica unica, dove ogni piatto è curato nei minimi dettagli. La signora Camelia, con la sua passione e professionalità, delizia gli ospiti con creazioni culinarie straordinarie. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di assaporare un baccalà mantecato su vellutata di patate, una carbonara Grantosco dal sapore intenso e avvolgente, e una spigola dalla cottura perfetta, morbida e saporita, che ha conquistato il palato di (un Catanese) un amante del pesce come me. Il servizio è impeccabile, la carta dei vini ben selezionata e adatta a ogni portata. E per concludere in bellezza, il dolce Gran Forchetta è stato una vera sorpresa: un’esplosione di sapori che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più memorabile.

Posto incantevole, accogliente e molto curato dove si mangia altrettanto bene, piatti curati e super gustosi, consiglio il picio al polpo super delizioso! Per non parlare della titolare molto gentile e simpatica! Ti fa sentire a casa! Ristorante da 10! Complimenti!
