The place is very warm and welcoming, and it feels like you're not even in the chaos of the city. The food wasn't bad, although we expected a bit more based on the photos. The dishes are typical of Lombardy's tradition. Parking in the area is tricky.

A historic venue that has retained its essence...traditional dishes, without flights of fancy but prepared with solid craftsmanship and great awareness...a must.

Osteria Grand Hotel in Milan is one of those places that, yes, is truly out of the way... but as soon as you arrive, you realize it's worth it. It's a beautiful place, with an atmosphere that immediately makes you want to "take it all in" and organize a long lunch or dinner with lots of friends—perfect for celebrating a birthday, too, with that warm, convivial atmosphere that puts everyone at ease. The food is excellent, simple and straightforward: no-frills dishes, made as they should be, with a quality you can taste. A special note on the wine list: if you love Barolo, you'll find a truly comprehensive and interesting selection here. And the desserts... I have to say: exceptional, the kind that make you end the dinner with a smile. I absolutely recommend booking.

A lovely, authentic place, you can feel its history. Traditional, no-frills dishes, well-presented, and above all, delicious. They accepted us for a last-minute reservation.

Very nice place, excellent food, and an excellent wine list. I chose an off-menu dish, and it was a very welcome recommendation. For the quality of the products, the prices are truly excellent. An excellent location for a stroll along the Navigli canals for an aperitif or a post-dinner drink.

For many years, I've appreciated the understated elegance of this restaurant and the knowledgeable host, who never offers anything predictable, from the glass of bubbles to begin a meal to the spirits to finish it off. The cheese trolley is also noteworthy.

Went there for a birthday and it was a really nice surprise. It felt like a true typical Milanese Osteria. I think I would probably bring family visiting from Canada there because it gives such a nice feel of Milan. The food was very good too!

Excellent dishes accompanied by an excellent wine list. A historic Milanese setting. The wisteria outside is beautiful. The pedestrian access to the restaurant from the main street could be improved.
