Delicious food and lovely people

We are a Roman couple visiting Padua. Chance brought us to dinner at this elegant and refined restaurant with an open kitchen. We didn't make a reservation. We ordered two seafood carbonaras with crispy bacon: we were absolutely delighted. While we waited, they brought us two delicious meatballs, courtesy of them, but even the various types of bread in the basket were delicious. Then, without waiting, we ate creamed cod and a vegan parmigiana with buffalo mozzarella, both delicious. We don't drink alcohol, so only water, but the wine list was impressive. The portions were generous and served on elegant and beautiful ceramics. The plating was beautiful. The waiters were very kind, yet discreet, and always present to make sure everything was to our liking. The ingredients were extremely fresh and of excellent quality. We didn't order anything else, but there's an extensive dessert menu, if you'd like. And we spent €80 for two. I'd go back again... but I'm in Rome. We loved everything so much that they introduced us to the talented young chef!!! The fujon music in the restaurant is a little loud, but the hi-fi must be excellent, because it wasn't annoying at all. When we were there, on a Friday night, it wasn't very crowded. I recommend it to anyone lucky enough to be in town 🥰 However, it's best to make a reservation.

Now you have to be careful with the shifts; perhaps the first shift at 7:30 PM is too early, and the 9:30 PM shift is too late. Anyway, the food is very good, even if the bigołi are a bit dry. The tiramisu sbagliato is sublime. The staff is courteous and helpful. Edit 206: I think they've improved a lot. Everything was very good. Even though we had three medium-sized dogs, they still accepted us.

We met a guy who works there named Lorenzo, a fantastic 23-year-old, and we started chatting about Padua in general and in particular. Then I asked, "Where can I eat something traditional from Padua?" He replied, "If you want, I work at the gourmet restaurant." And so it was, he invited us as guests to this restaurant. The spaghetti with duck was exceptional; my wife ordered pasta and beans, sublime. I had a polenta crunchy with creamed cod, heavenly, and to finish, we finished with a fried tiramisu, excellent for three people. The prices were more than fair. Excellent, come. Impeccable cleanliness. The staff at the service were exceptional. Thanks, Lorenzo. Keep up the good work, you're exceptional.

Nice place (though it could be better), good food, but pretty poor service. The long-haired waiter was very lost; best left at home.
