Our approach to Gobbato was a kind of Squid Game, as we had to pass through various obstacles. Arriving there for the first time - at the end of October - we were discouraged by a sort of invasion of flies and by the crowd of customers, all smoking in the outdoor area in front, and we turned on our heels. Then we were enticed again by the superb Christmas reviews for their panettone, so we returned and it frankly seemed like a different place! Clean, tidy, pleasantly decorated for the festive occasion. The first thing that strikes you when you arrive is the EXTRAORDINARY kindness of the staff: always attentive, always smiling, with a word of greeting for everyone. Then you look at the window and there are the desserts, well presented and I must say good too! We therefore got hold of an excellent panettone, which won our ranking hands down this year! (We won't mention the other participants because it wouldn't be fair...) Finally, honorable mention to the Negronis we drank. Excellent, but avoid them if you have to drive! 🤣 In short, Gobbato could be an ordinary bar in an "in" area of ​​Milan, but instead it is an exceptional point of reference for Corvetto! I was given their white chocolate panettone as a gift, the best panettone I've ever tried!! White chocolate is present in the dough, so you won't find icing or pieces inside but I think it's even better this way because the taste is still very noticeable. Very soft and without candied fruit in this variant, even my mother who is a pandoro lover loved it. In our house it literally lasted 1 day. Try it!

Ogni volta che entro, ogni volta che entro il profumo inconfondibile di dolci appena sfornati mi fa sentire a casa. I prodotti sono eccellenti: dalle brioche fragranti e leggere, perfette per la colazione, forse le migliori che ho provato a Milano, ai dolci artigianali preparati con ingredienti di qualità, che non deludono mai. Anche il pane e i prodotti da forno meritano una menzione speciale, sempre freschi e dal sapore autentico. La caffetteria, poi, è il tocco finale: un espresso come si deve e cappuccini cremosi accompagnano perfettamente ogni dolce. È evidente la cura per i dettagli e la passione per il proprio lavoro, che si riflettono nell’attenzione al cliente e nella qualità dei prodotti. Consigliatissima per una pausa di gusto, un’occasione speciale o anche solo per portare a casa qualcosa di buono.
