Fried gnocco, artisanal pasta and grill. This is the trio that made us fall in love with this place, with its good, abundant and quality cuisine. Located on the outskirts of Pavia, Gnocco Fritto amazed us from the first moment we entered until the moment we left, full and happy. We started, of course, with fried gnocco accompanied by a platter of cold cuts and cheeses. I really liked the gnocco: for its softness and lightness it reminded me of the crescentina bolognese, one of my favorite dishes during the seven years I lived in the Emilian capital. The platter was excellent, with a special mention for the goodness of the cheeses and the jams paired with them. Then came the pasta, which you can see and, above all, taste on the palate, that is homemade. We split the tagliatelle cacio e pepe with truffle oil, a real discovery, because we never expected that this combination could improve so much an already excellent dish, and the nettle ravioli with almond dusting, simply delicious and, at the moment, the best stuffed pasta I have eaten in Pavia! To finish in style, we ordered her, the Florentine steak. Huge and cooked rare as requested, the meat was real butter, with a layer of fat that enhanced the flavor without the need for too many condiments. The display of aged meats was also very interesting, giving us one more reason to return soon! With beer, coffee and service included, we spent 55 euros each: very fair, given the quality of the raw materials and the generosity of the portions. Last but not least, praise goes to the service that can be summed up in one word: splendid. Fast, friendly and genuine, you can feel how much the staff loves their job and cares about making customers feel at home, with a friendly chat that makes you smile. Highly recommended. Come here for a good meal... and prepare to leave very, very happy.

Fried gnocco all you can eat, which arrives as if there was no tomorrow! Good, soft not greasy and heavy! With cold cuts and cheeses with sauces! Good rib, even the first courses were not bad, the staff very nice and friendly! I recommend

Scoperto attraverso le recensioni abbiamo pranzato in questo locale situato fuori dal centro di Pavia. Ci ha soddisfatto la gentilezza dei camerieri e la qualità dell’antipasto anche se qualche formaggio in più sui taglieri sarebbe stato gradito. Lo gnocco fritto viene servito con generosità. Buona la scelta dei primi. Prezzi in linea per un locale non turistico.

Davvero un bel locale, rustico e curato allo stesso tempo, carne davvero buona, il tagliere dei salumi e formaggi davvero incredibile (nemmeno il tempo di fare la foto..) gnocco fritto davvero da tradizione e particolare. Dolce buono. Il cameriere poco convincente nella scelta della carne. Forse unico tasto dolente. voto finale 4.5-5.
