Top wine shop and restaurant. Wide range of wines. Very courteous and kind owner. Very professional and then you really feel at home. Highly recommended.

Higher quality restaurant in the city center. Guests at the luncheon included local couples and families. Very tasty food at reasonable prices. The pistachio pasta, for example, was a poem. Absolutely recommended.

Bought “fried pizzas” thinking they would be regular but weren’t. They were like calzones. Not great but good. Burrata starter very refreshing.

So I don’t want to give the wrong impression here as the people are nice and the place looks good, BUT if you want pizza, don’t choose what they call traditional Sicilian fried pizza. It actually is typical for this small region of Sicily, but it’s closer to a fried mars bar than the Pizza we are used to around the world. It’s a massive amount of fried cheese…you gotta want that. The starters were very nice and the draft beer is great as well. In off season it felt a bit lonely.

Il ristorante è centralissimo, accanto al Municipio di Zafferana Etnea. Ci siamo trovati bene, abbiamo assaggiato delle bruschette con la caponata su un letto di rucola freschissima, la caponata buona davvero. Poi abbiamo anche assaggiato la pizza siciliana, una sorta di calzone fritto con ripieni vari a scelta nel menu. Buona scelta di birre, io ho preso un chinotto biologico molto buono. Costi nella media, servizio ottimo, il cameriere ci ha accolto con gentilezza e seguito da vicino senza dimenticarsi mai di noi. Trovandoci nuovamente a Zafferana ci torneremo sicuramente.

The starters were the absolute highlight. Very delicious and a great variety of foods on the appetizers plate. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Very good restaurant and very good discovery of typical Sicilian pizzas (calzone type pizzas that can be fried). Calzoni nutella perfect for dessert. Very few people because late (2 p.m.) and out of season so no waiting, perfect.

13/04/2025: All very good even if thinking of a fixed price menu you might think the opposite. Excellent quality of raw materials, very good self-produced white wine, arancinetto with swordfish and aubergine a spectacle for the palate, I would have eaten a dozen of them, prompt and attentive service and finally Simone, a present and welcoming host and I would add that despite it being a Saturday evening and 5 of us without a reservation, Simone welcomed us and made us sit. Thank you Simone 🙂 I highly recommend it 👍
25/03/2025: Avevo un ottimo ricordo di questo piccolo locale situato in zona tranquilla dove non esiste lo stress da parcheggio. Tipicamente di pesce, il Corallo è un locale in cui bisogna iniziare dalla carrellata di antipasti (tra cui segnalo un tonno in agrodolce indimenticabile) per passare alla classica pasta al nero di seppia (per me la migliore mai mangiata). Per completare consiglio la grigliata di pesce. Il servizio anche di domenica a pranzo è rapido e i prezzi sono nella media delle trattorie catanesi. Consigliatissimo.

26/07/2024: Excellent lunch. Genuine and home cooking. Excellent ravioli. Waiting times are a little long, but that's OK when the restaurant is very busy.
