Il ristorante è centralissimo, accanto al Municipio di Zafferana Etnea. Ci siamo trovati bene, abbiamo assaggiato delle bruschette con la caponata su un letto di rucola freschissima, la caponata buona davvero. Poi abbiamo anche assaggiato la pizza siciliana, una sorta di calzone fritto con ripieni vari a scelta nel menu. Buona scelta di birre, io ho preso un chinotto biologico molto buono. Costi nella media, servizio ottimo, il cameriere ci ha accolto con gentilezza e seguito da vicino senza dimenticarsi mai di noi. Trovandoci nuovamente a Zafferana ci torneremo sicuramente.

Very good restaurant and very good discovery of typical Sicilian pizzas (calzone type pizzas that can be fried). Calzoni nutella perfect for dessert. Very few people because late (2 p.m.) and out of season so no waiting, perfect.

A nice, pleasant restaurant with good service and very good food. The specialty is the 'Sicilian pizza'. It looks like a calzone, but it's fried. The wine is too expensive at €6 per 1/8 liter.

La siciliana è buona e il locale si trova direttamente sopra la piazza, purtroppo c'è una scarsa attenzione al cliente per cui siamo stati collocati in uno spazio molto ristretto. I dolci sono stati apprezzati.

I had already been there for a Sicilian one, very good. Lately I've always had a Sicilian and my wife a Caprese with burrata, exceptional and very tasty. Impeccable service and you don't expect much. Very clean and tidy.

16/04/2025: Here we focus on the matter, that is, a pizza so good that it will be difficult to find anywhere else in the city. A simple place with no frills, really welcoming managers, excellent prices. Rare now.

Bar La Scala

12/04/2025: Very good location for visiting the rock steps, friendly staff. Clean showers and toilets with paper. Shuttle service to the beach. Some great views. Access seems more difficult than it actually is. Difficult for very long motorhomes over 7.50 m. For €20 all inclusive, very fair price. What can be annoying is van drivers who often open the sliding door and forget that sliding doors can also close quietly. Especially at night and early in the morning.
29/01/2025: Given that we were in the camper in December so we didn't have any parking problems. Upon arrival we were welcomed and all the services offered by the rest area were explained in detail, which we found clean and functional. The shuttle service is also excellent as it avoids having to go down and back up from the beach to the area. The Scala dei Turchi is a spectacle of nature and must absolutely be seen!
