We arrived in Rome the day we ate at Glass Hostaria, and it certainly was a great first meal. From the canapés and amuse bouche, to the dessert, and the wine pairings that went with them, it was a great experience. We did the tasting menu, and the portions were great, the wines went beautifully with the food, and the room and service were great.

Glass Hosteria was absolutely phenomenal. Immaculate menu with an incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming team. The service was top notch and the food was mind blowing. Chef Christina also took the time to spend a few minutes at our table. This meant the world to my fiancé and I. All in all, fantastic location, food, service, and people. You truly can’t go wrong.

This restaurant was our choice for Rome from the Michelin guide, which is always our best advisor for restaurants. And, having read about the chef, we were really anticipated to try her masterpieces) But we limited ourselves to a la carte as normally, after a 5-course set, we feel way too stuffed.
and what I’d like to say: the wine card iss very good and varied, starting from like 60 euros per bottle, with a lot of high-end wines. the food is delicious, but nothing that I would call outstanding, and the portions are simply top small… the smallest we ever tasted even in restaurants with high cuisine that we visit a lot. not at all worth the price of 40 euros per meal.
Really delicious bread and nice, but basic Desserts are offered as compliments - and thanks a lot to the owners for this!
But, having had 2 meals each and desserts, and having spent 160 euros on food only (wine and water - separately), we left the restaurant really hungry and went next door to eat smth else..
but the service was impeccable: really attentive waiters, quick

It was my first experience in a starred restaurant. I took the vegetarian menu and the dishes offered were very particular. There was some reference to Roman cuisine, which I personally appreciated a lot. Overall I liked everything, especially the attentive and helpful service.

We went for lunch today, even if calling it lunch is an understatement, I would say more of an experience... we tasted some dishes that, in addition to being aesthetically wonderful, had a taste that is difficult to explain in words, all paired with some delicious wines. In addition to the chef, compliments must also be paid to all the staff, who are very friendly and highly trained.

My partner and I had fun throughout the dinner thanks to the Chef's dishes, each dish was surprising in its tastes and textures, but above all we realized how behind each dish there are years of study and dedication.
I have respect and admiration for Chef Bowerman and all her staff, who gave us an evening of smiles and reflections. When we return to Rome, we will definitely stop here again!
P.S. best dish of our dinner... The plin ravioli all'amatriciana!

Unfortunately my experience in Glass hostaria was underwhelming. I only found one of the courses remarkable, the waiting times were excessive and I didn't even enjoy the wine. I was looking forward to getting out of there after two hours, which is not exactly the desired experience at a Michelin star restaurant.
