I come for the coffee, occasionally the cappuccino, the obligatory simple croissant...always good and fragrant. The staff...patient and courteous. There's space, you can sit down, you relax just long enough to savor your things and get back to your day. For me, that's how it is; try it.

I've always said that at Tornatora you could try real cheesecake... not anymore, alas, and this partly explains the lack of a rating, hence the three stars. The rest, for me, is superior to other local pastry shops only because of the price.
We also tried the custard basket with berries on top (I don't remember the name). We didn't like either the custard or the berries.
Conclusion: I consider what I tasted to be adequate, and it doesn't seem to excel in anything else.

Excellent pastries and breakfast, but there's always too much chaos and dirt on the floor!
A single register to pay for both the pastries and the bar... which creates an endless line and a nerve-wracking wait!
Unfortunately, the cashier serves croissants while handling the money. 😞
As if that weren't enough, they recently raised the prices too!!! 🤬

Tornatora is an excellent neighborhood bar and pastry shop. It serves excellent coffee, and the aperitifs are also good, with a variety of excellent snacks.
The pastry shop is truly top-quality, a guarantee.
The location and ambiance are elegant, and the taste is without being overbearing.
I highly recommend it.

The croissants and all the pastries are excellent. The cappuccino is also very good. The staff is also friendly. The only downside is the dirtiness of the place, starting from the rugs at the entrance, not to mention the entire floor and tables. It's a shame because it's a beautiful café/pastry shop, very elegant and refined. I understand the always high traffic, but a clean every now and then seems like a must in a place like this!

Overall, it's a nice place, although it's a bit crowded, especially on Sundays. I find the price of breakfast excessive.
