We enjoyed mixed appetizers and a fish main course (albacore tuna with caramelized onion) and were very satisfied with both the quantity and quality. The price was €40 per person, including two glasses of wine. A bit pricey, but worth it.

The dishes I tried were delicious. Everything was fresh, made with top-quality ingredients. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT ON SATURDAY!!!
We waited 40 minutes for our order to be taken. On the weekend, choose a different restaurant.

We came to Sicily for a week, stumbled upon Gitano's on our first evening, and it was a hit. We came here every day except Tuesday, when the restaurant was closed. The food was fantastic, with large portions, delicious local produce, and excellent quality. The sardines, calamari, and shrimp were the best appetizers. Il Marinati had juicy tomatoes on bruschetta. The pizza was fantastic, crispy, and baked in a wood-fired oven. A wonderful, homey atmosphere. The service was very polite and helpful. The owner was very nice, and we send our warmest regards. 😊

The owner was very kind and recommended the place for the day we booked. The restaurant has a panoramic view of the Strait of Messina. The food was excellent, carefully prepared. The prices were average.

High quality, helpful and attentive staff.
A very popular pizzeria and restaurant, especially for its fish dishes.
The owner often comes to the tables to check on guests' satisfaction.
If they build a bridge over the Strait, this place will be among the buildings to be demolished—a great shame!

Abbiamo passato una serata in famiglia. I sapori di ogni piatto erano perfettamente bilanciati e gli ingredienti incredibilmente freschi. Il pesce era tenero da sciogliersi in bocca. La pasta al pomodoro che ha mangiato nostra figlia è stata molto gradita, la salsa sembra fatta con pomodoro di stagione. Il sevizio è stato impeccabile. Mi è piaciuto molto l'ambiente intimo ed accogliente di questo posto. Non perdetevi i dessert: la selezione era molto variegata ed ognuno era delizioso. Noi abbiamo assaggiato il gelato alla cannella, la panna cotta e il sorbetto al limone. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo! Le porzioni erano generose e il gusto eccezionale. Consigliatissimo!!!

Ho mangiato il miglior pesce di sempre!!! Il gitano's è sempre una garanzia...qualità dei prodotti, accoglienza, simpatia e attenzione al cliente fanno di questo posto un luogo che scalda il cuore ed il palato!!! Per chi non ci fosse mai stato... non perdete tempo da provare assolutamente !
