If I had to title my review: "When reality exceeds expectations." Both my husband and I were very pleased. A simple and charming place, family-run. The welcome is warm and they begin by pampering you with a generous appetizer. The food is well-prepared, and the portions are good and generous. The price is incredibly low, so it's an exceptional value: a complimentary appetizer, two first courses, a second course for two, a half-liter of wine and water: €33! Excellent and friendly.

As Germans, we wanted to try authentic Italian cuisine away from the tourist crowds and received a very warm welcome. We started with a complimentary antipasto, followed by the spiny dogfish steak on a bed of vegetables, served with a side of vegetables and potatoes. For dessert, of course, we enjoyed a truly Italian tiramisu. The food was very well seasoned, the side dish was slightly spicy, and the potatoes were quite overcooked, unlike what we're used to. I only found one piece of potato. The red wine was served chilled, unlike at room temperature. At €42 for our meal and drinks, the price-performance ratio was perfectly reasonable. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is currently rather simple, located in a heated tent. However, you can also sit on the terrace or in the garden in the shade when it's a bit warmer.

A fantastic find! A huge thank you to the servers and the chef! The dishes are fresh and you can tell they're homemade with love. The desserts were also delicious (tiramisu and chocolate fondant). We'll be back very soon! (Don't forget to book in advance, and the menus change frequently.)

Far from the tourist crowds, a lovely little restaurant nestled under the wisteria with very friendly and welcoming service. A delicious meal at a very reasonable price! Although we had to drive there, we had absolutely no regrets about spending our last evening there 😊

Excellent food, the pasta was very good. The service was fast and great. We said we weren't from the city and they even gave me a city map.

We ate very delicious food, there is not a large selection but it is very delicious, the Dessert was divine, the drinks are also delicious, I can only recommend it. The owner is very nice, a real family restaurant.

I eat here very often and always enjoy returning, both for the food and the hospitality. The dishes are varied, with both seafood and meat options. The portions are generous. The staff is always courteous and helpful. Guests are welcomed to their table with a small plate of appetizers, kindly offered on the house. I also really enjoy the house white wine (usually, in other places, I find it to be of poor quality). Advance reservations are recommended.

I'm in La Spezia for personal work. After finishing work, I passed this place and decided to stop here for dinner. Everything was good, the waitress and owner were very kind, and the food was delicious.
