As noted in several reviews, this restaurant's cuisine is a blend of Japanese and Apulian cuisine. I found the dishes very flavorful and well-crafted, and the combinations are certainly original and never overly risky. The ACYE offer is reasonable. The atmosphere is elegant and refined. I would return.

HELLO WAGLIÒ! A JAPANESE-APULIAN DELICIOUSNESS! I had average expectations, but from the first appetizers onward, we were completely blown away 😍 an explosion of flavors that no other sushi restaurant can match. We'll be back again, and more than once 😂 Don't miss it!

We returned to Giappugliese exactly a year after our first visit, to celebrate Easter and a birthday. If possible, we ate even better than last time. The "fusion" concept is perfectly executed! It's not cheap, but it's worth it.

A welcoming place with a glass-enclosed kitchen. Excellent food, a mix of Japanese and Apulian dishes—a delightful find. The owner is friendly and kind, definitely a character. Let the Apulian guide you to try a little bit of everything. Japanese and Apulian dishes, the prices aren't cheap, but you'll get excellent food and a lovely atmosphere, with two decorative plants. After leaving the restaurant, I recommend taking a stroll to the right toward the Darsena and the wonderful canals...

27/04/2026: We were directed to this place, which from the outside looks small but inside is a large room. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and KIND. We ate delicious spaghetti with clams and bottarga and fried calamari. We were surprised to find that before our dishes arrived, they offered us a focaccia to stave off hunger. At the end of the meal, they offered us a digestif. Needless to say, we returned the next day, and upon seeing us, they greeted us with a handshake like friends. We ate pizza both days, and we spent a fair amount. If we're in the area, we'll return.
18/04/2026: We ordered the following and both were absolutely delicious!!! The restaurant was fully booked with reservations, but since it was 7 PM, we managed to snag a table on the terrace! Reservations are highly recommended! Pizza "BURRATA" A pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, Bologna ham (mortadella), burrata cheese, and pistachios. The combination of gooey burrata cheese and pistachios is an incredibly popular and delicious dish in Italy. Spaghetti ai frutti di mare al cartoccio con scaglie di grana Spaghetti baked in a carton with seafood. Served baked in the oven, the seafood flavors are concentrated and it looks magnificent!

15/07/2026: An excellent venue, both for special occasions and a date. The menu offers a wide variety: from pizza to raw fish, but also creative pasta dishes and premium cuts of meat, with both black and white truffles for connoisseurs. In short, a place that caters to all budgets and tastes. Excellent off-menu options as well; Pupi is always ready to surprise you.
