Very good! Second time eating here in Bari! Not a tourist trap. The calamari is amazing, as is the pasta. More elevated and classy. Took a star off as service is attentive and good but not overtly friendly (but this is how most Barese are to tourists, so!)

Well, what can I say: congratulations. Quality, there wasn't a dish that didn't have exquisite flavours. At a very honest price, among other things a very beautiful and particular location.

I've been there twice, the food is absolutely fabulous.

Absolutely loved this place! Some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. The food was mind blowing good! But what stood out to us the most was the attention to detail and the wonderful service provided to us. Such a fantastic staff. I recommend this resturant if you’re in Bari and want some delicious seafood with excellent service.

Amazing place with unique atmosphere, lots of good local food and most lovely service. We have had raw shrimps and clams, and had the best ever pasta!

I went to this restaurant as a couple and I have to say I was very disappointed. First of all, the room in which we were seated was very dark and with a strong smell of gas due to the heating lamps being turned on. The raw appetizer is not worth it for the price, very small and you can find better ones in the areas. The saddest thing is that we had ordered sea urchins (because they were seen at the entrance) and after a first yes from the waitress they were removed from the order as they were finished. Everything was ok except that, before this communication, the owner and the waitress herself chattered from afar and pointed to our table several times. The impression is that they reserve some things for "special" tables, which is confirmed by the fact that for example we were not told about the first courses off the menu while at other tables we were. First courses are normal but nothing special. Surprise in the bill with the addition of a 20 euro dish, so better check the bill.

Excellent fish restaurant. Abundant and delicious. Impeccable service.

Food is great. Service too. Location is quite and not many tourists.

Das Restaurant wurde uns von Hotel empfohlen, in Bari gibt es ja viele Fischlokale, wir wurden positiv überrascht. Das Lokal liegt etwas versteckt in einer Seitengasse, das Hinweisschild ist leider durch Zweige verdeckt. Die Auswahl ist riesig, das Restaurant beeindruckt durch eine große Weite und und wirkt sehr fein. Ich wurde gut beraten und entschied mich für die „Andalusische Fischsuppe“ konnte den Fisch an der Eingangstheke aussuchen. Meine Freunde waren von der Qualität und Auswahl sehr begeistert. Wenn wir wieder in Bali sind kommen wir wieder!

Ristorante Giampaolo è davvero un bel posto, luminoso,curato ed elegante al punto giusto. Insomma un signor ristorante dove si mangia un pesce strepitoso. È stata una bellissima cena. Frequentato da molte persone del posto il che è una garanzia. Non ho preso i crudi ma ho notato che andavano alla grande ed erano molto apprezzati. Sará per la prossima volta. Gli spaghetti ai ricci di mare sono stati il top per me. Il servizio molto attento e di esperienza. I prezzi sono assolutamente idonei al servizio e al menù. Complimenti.
