When we're in Ponza, we never miss an evening on Gennarino's splendid terrace. A welcoming, family atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation. Try the new summer dish, Pasta alla Gennarino! Prices are in line with the location. Highly recommended.

A pleasant discovery! We stopped in for lunch without a reservation. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, and they looked after us from start to finish! The food was wonderful, probably the best spaghetti with clams I've ever eaten, and the fried fish was incredibly crispy! Congratulations!

Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy an evening in an intimate setting, with good food and excellent service. We ordered seared octopus as an appetizer, followed by two fish-based first courses, both delicious. They also greeted us with a welcome bao, and after dinner, they served us some homemade meringues. If we're ever in Ponza again, we'll definitely return to Gennarino!

Un esperienza indimenticabile in questo posto magico proprio al centro di Ponza e con vista sul mare e sul paese Il ristorante e sul mare con una posizione meravigliosa e strategica Il cibo: una delizia x il palato!!!! Avendo soggiornato nel loro albergo E comodo pranzare direttamente nella struttura: ristorante raffinato e accogluente: ho assaporato i sapori mediterranei sapientemente combinati dallo chef creando piatti unici e squisiti. Ottimo Lo spaghetto alla Gennarino e poi pesce freschissimo con il profumo del mare Lo consiglio vivamente Ottima esperienza tutto buonissimo in un atmosfera elegante e raffinata

Pasta and clams commendable. Mediocre frying (considering the cost, €23, personal expectations were high and, unfortunately, they were not satisfied at all). Lovely location and friendly staff.

Ristorante Nane Hotel Ares

29/10/2025: A quiet and overall good hotel, I think it's the only one in Pontinia. The rooms are a bit small, but the bathroom is spacious. The beds have mattresses that are a bit too soft for my taste. Unfortunately, the windows don't have screens, and when I left them slightly open to let the air circulate, a few insects got in, disturbing my sleep. Cleanliness seems good. It's getting old, and it shows; it could use a general modernization, but it's still a good property with a pleasant restaurant, which has a lovely atmosphere and the dishes we tried were truly excellent. The garden is lovely, and the pool is okay. The staff is friendly, although they asked me to pay for dinner immediately (!) instead of at checkout, as if I were planning on running away... The breakfast buffet could also include something savory, not just sweet. Overall, it's okay, but there are some things that could be improved. See you next time!
15/10/2025: Recently renovated rooms. Minimal breakfast; pre-ordering a croissant/savory option is fine, but a little more variety wouldn't hurt.
