Gelmetti 1952 In Milano

Food quality not worth the price. 14€ for chewy fried fish in an appetizer-sized dish was actually below expectations. Expensive Packaging, making take away even more costly. I'll close in Italian: the chef who smokes outside the shop and then goes to plate is something you just can't see, not even from those who buy to eat at home!!

Little fish restaurant, really nice staff and great food! I highly recommend to try, near to the Central Railway Station of Milano

We were greeted by a very nice host. It was easy to communicate with him in English. He gave us great advice about appetizers and drinks. Everything was very tasty and we had a nice time.

It is the bistro version, a short distance from the historic location of the fishmonger opened in 1952. The quality of the fish is unquestionable and the preparation is also excellent and respectful of the raw materials used. Service a little rushed but still of a good standard. High prices but good fish is unfortunately very expensive right from the start.

Ieri siamo stati a prendere un aperitivo. Il cibo si conferma essere molto buono come quello d’altronde la qualità dell’omonima pescheria, che ne giustifica i prezzi alti. Purtroppo siamo stati invitati a “liberare il tavolo quanto prima” (cito testualmente) perchè in orario di chiusura. Questo ci è stato detto alle 21:30, con orario di chiusura indicato alle 22:00. Sicuramente non un bel modo di coccolare i clienti. Peccato perchè il cibo e il bere meritano molto.

Excellent food, very friendly service. Not far from Centrale station. We c ould not sit inside, so we were led around the corner to their pavement tables on a quieter street where we could enjoy the best cooked fish you could imagine.

Mi avevano raccomandato questo posto amici. Grande scoperta! Pesce freschissimo. Catalana super! Uno spasso i piatti. Il prossimo viaggio a Milano ci ricapitolare sicuramente.
