Nice place, great product but too much mess. If I want an ice cream I have to be able to choose calmly, something I wasn't able to do.

Very very good ice cream, mouth-watering. Obviously for me. Fast and helpful service. A simple place, after all the ice cream must be good, not the place.

Unfortunately, there are long queues, but it's because the ice cream is so amazing! Loads of different flavours - probably too many! At least the queue time helps give you time to decide. They must have 30 or 40 flavours to choose from, and they all look great. First time here and we're only in Modena for one night, but we'll be back tomorrow morning when they open! Highly recommended.

Just the best gelato / ice cream shop in Modena. Open till 2 most nights! So many different varieties and combinations, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Friendly staff who helped me out in English. Some benches outside to sit and enjoy your purchases. They don’t last very long!

This gelateria is not located in the historic center of Modena but those few extra steps are definitely paid off. Too many flavours to choose from and we loved each one we tried. I am not sure if they are the best but for sure among the top!

20/10/2024: We came this morning to have a savory/sweet breakfast, excellent Venetian with pistachio, good pizza, we will be back, fast and precise service, recommended.
11/10/2024: Very kind owners, delicious pizzas, generously seasoned but super digestible (for me the best pizza I've ever eaten!!!) Really nice place with a welcoming summer terrace... Then if you want to taste arancini or granitas, Salvo is truly a guarantee of Sicilianity !

04/11/2024: Locanda del Mulino di Gorzano is an enchanting place, perfect for an authentic Emilian culinary experience. During our visit, we savored the delicious mixed antipasto del Mulino, followed by the classic Tortellini in capon broth and the refined Tortelloni Vecchia Modena with spun balsamic vinegar, all dishes performed with a unique care for local traditions. The desserts, in particular the hot Sfogliatina with custard and the inn's Tiramisu, were the perfect culmination of an excellent lunch. The cuisine and hospitality of the Locanda make the restaurant an unmissable stop for those seeking the authentic Modena flavor in a welcoming and refined environment
