Delicious gelato in a small square just steps from Ferrara Cathedral. The sales assistants are very kind and knowledgeable, and the gelato is truly exquisite and comes in a wide variety of flavors, including Tenerina. The place doesn't just make gelato, but also other desserts that look delicious! The prices are fair for the quality of the gelato. I got the "small" cone for €3 with only two flavors, but the portion was truly generous. Congratulations! Winter update: they also make crepes with gelato, which are delicious and affordable. <3

In addition to the relatively classic flavors, there are also more unusual ones, often linked to the seasonality of the ingredients: in this autumnal period, for example, they offer butternut squash and strawberry grapes. They also take care of those with intolerances, with dairy-free options and rice wafers (perfect for celiacs). Finally, the girls are lovely, professional, kind, and cheerful. Recommended!

18/01/2026: I found it by chance after reading the reviews and looking at the photos of the dishes. This time, let's start with the things I didn't like the most: the lighting in the restaurant was disappointing, with ineffective lights. The space is also a little cramped, but it's manageable. From here on out, only positive things. The menu isn't overwhelming, so you can't get lost. There are 5-6 choices for each course, traditional Ferrara dishes and a few different options, including meat, fish, and vegetarian options. I tried the creamed cod with chickpea cream, pumpkin tortelli, and salami for sauce. Not much to say, the dishes were good and well-prepared (perhaps I would have preferred the ragù for the tortelli to be different: the pieces of meat were large and the sauce a little runny, but that's a minor detail). Special mention for the service! The waiters were kind and attentive, smiling and pleasant, and they also gave us effective advice. Truly excellent. If I were to return to Ferrara, I would definitely return here.
