Gelato buonissimo, di qualità. Le signorine al banco poco sorridenti e poi vorrei capire la differenza fra un cono da 3euro e uno da 1.50 perché la quantità è SEMPRE la stessa.

The ice creams are delicious, the ice cream cakes even better. Smiling, friendly staff and clean environment. Space to eat outside at the tables and quite easy to find parking.

I've been coming here since I was little and have never had any problems. For me it remains the best ice cream shop in Pistoia: helpful and kind staff, delicious ice cream, outdoor tables for eating ice cream and a very well-kept place. Unlike other ice cream shops I've been to, the tubs of ice cream are served here well: the ice cream doesn't come out, the flavors aren't mixed.

07/07/2025: Expectations were not high, I read some reviews and I was dubious but given the view.. we decided to try it anyway. Luckily for us the weather was nice, they sat us on the terrace with a breathtaking view, we ordered 1 appetizer, 1 first course, 2 second courses with 2 side dishes, dessert, water, wine, coffee and bitter, 80 euros, a more than fair price. Super helpful and knowledgeable staff, I would have returned the following evening too.. too bad they are only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, for those who are passing through (and not) I absolutely recommend it. (The wild boar ragù is delicious)

Ristorante Pizzeria Il Pinguino

22/04/2025: Il ristorante si trova all'interno di un campeggio, facilmente raggiungibile dalla strada principale, appena fuori dal paese di Pian di Novello. Un posto davvero molto carino, accogliente e curato nei dettagli, sembra di stare a casa. Ci sono stato per la prima volta su consiglio di amici per il pranzo di Pasqua, avevano organizzato un menù a prezzo fisso comprensivo di un antipasto, due primi molto buoni perché la pasta era fatta in casa, due secondi con relativi contorni, dolce, acqua, vino, caffè a 40€. Direi che per la qualità e per come sono state trattate le materie prime sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Anche il servizio è stato soddisfacente. Lo consiglio vivamente e ci tornerò sicuramente.
02/02/2025: Non è la prima volta che ci fermiamo al "Pinguino" per pranzo dopo una ciaspolata nella bella riserva biogenetica di Pian di Novello. Proprietari gentili, ristorante curato e accogliente, cibo ottimo. Stavolta abbiamo preso i tordelli di carne e le pappardelle con i funghi e di secondo straccetti di maiale e polenta fritta. Porzioni abbondanti e saporite. Prezzo giusto. Ritorneremo!
