Gelateria Dolcecrema In Maranello

One of the best gelato shops in Maranello. The pistachio deserves a special mention: stratospheric is an understatement. Its natural color, intense, toasted flavor, velvety texture, and zero artificial flavors make it a gelato you'll never forget. The variety of flavors and the friendly staff are also excellent. Excellent quality and fair prices. Definitely worth a try.

Excellent ice cream, near the Ferrari museum

My wife and I visited Maranello an entire 6 months ago and there hasn't been a week go by where I haven't thought about the Salted Pistachio gelato from Dolcecrema. This sounds like an exaggeration, but I assure you, it is not. I am writing this review after so many months because I yet again found myself thinking of it and was actually nearby my computer & motivated enough to do so. Simply put, it was the single best scoop of gelato that we had during our entire trip around Italy (Rome, Florence, Bologna, Parma, Cinque Terre), and we did not skimp on the (daily) gelato indulgences! The texture of the gelato itself, the flavour combination of the pistachio and the cherry, the contrast of crunch with the pistachio and peanuts pieces. Absolute heaven! I can only continue to dream of finding anything remotely close to as good as this nearby to where I live in Canada. Unfortunately, we are far behind the Italians in the skillful art of gelato making, or ice cream making, here in North America. So, I will keep on remembering this wonderful experience as long as I can while settling for the obviously inferior options found here at home. Ferrari may be the main reason many people visit this city, which we did of course, but this will be my #1 reason for going back to Maranello if I ever travel to Italy again.

Excellent ice cream and cones. Very attractive prices. The person who served us didn't speak French or English, but she was understanding and patient. I recommend it!

Good gelato and always new ideas. It's a shame there's not enough space to enjoy the gelato while seated.
