Gattullo In Milano

Good pastry shop. Excellent location, but it relies too much on its excellent past. The brioches I eat in the morning are fairly basic, with cream and pistachio filling, a bit like the ones you find elsewhere. Not a great value. Three stars for its history, but perhaps it needs to earn one back.

One of the beautiful and old cafes in Milan. It serves all kinds of coffee, has a variety of sweets, and the service is very wonderful.

Pasticceria Gattullo is a beautiful, elegant place. The staff is friendly and smiling. Today, we had breakfast with coffee and a cream-filled brioche. The dough was soft and pleasing to the palate, but the filling was inconsistent in density and flavor. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #Pasticceria #breakfast

Spectacular place and very kind and friendly staff, the only thing is that being probably the best in Milan, it is not always possible to find a place, it is better to either book or go a little earlier

The desserts are good, but the prices are quite high compared to other similar pastry shops in Milan. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't very friendly, which detracted from the overall experience. Fortunately, the owner was very kind and helpful—definitely the highlight of the visit. I hope the service improves in the future, because the place has potential.

Unfortunately our experience was not exactly positive. We had been wanting to try this historic place for a while and finally we managed to do it while passing by. From the outside the place seems huge, but inside the arrangement of the counter and tables does not take full advantage of the space. The main counter is very scenic, while the few tables inside are arranged in a second room. After a modest wait we manage to sit down and order. Empty pastries...not delivered, I took one with cream and one with pistachio with coffee and cappuccino. The cream inside the pastry was almost liquid and overcooked, the one with pistachio was slightly better while the cappuccino served in a cup quite small compared to today's standard was not well prepared. The milk was runny and not very pleasing. A disappointment. The probable rush in preparing it due to the excessive presence of customers does not make the bartenders put in the right effort.

Very good, I go often because it's close to work BUT a focaccia with mortadella TO-GO, in a miserable paper bag like in any other bar, €9 NINE EUROS It seems really exaggerated to me.

Very classic, almost “agé” place where you can find excellent brioches. There are several tables to start the day calmly.
