Very nice atmosphere, delicious chips, excellent beer, it is preferable to call to book otherwise you risk not finding a place

We went one evening with friends without booking and were lucky to find free places. The puree and musetto are very good. The ravioli with black cabbage and melted butter are truly excellent. The wiener schnitzel is very large, or you have a capacious stomach, otherwise it is better to share it with a diner. According to those who drank it, the beer was also excellent. The strudel is very good.

Nice place, like a mountain hut, no paper menu with prices but in the end 2 second courses 2 desserts 2 coffees a bitter, 1/2 liter of wine total €50 seems normal to me

Mangiato molto bene in un locale casalingo. Specialità wienerschnizel alle magnoglie ma anche altro. Buoni i dolci fatto in casa.

Gasthaus a modo nostro recita il motto del loro sito internet. E così è, un mix tra la tipica trattoria friulana e la Gasthaus austriaca. Il menù è proprio ispirato a questo, al quale si accompagnano i vini del territorio ma anche delle deliziose birre d'oltre confine. Servizio attento e premuroso, piatti giusti in quantità. Parcheggio nelle pertinenze, si consiglia la prenotazione. Dolci fatti in casa meritevoli di nota, prezzo onesto. Consigliatissimo.

15/09/2024: The Ai Confini restaurant, located directly on the golf course in Tarvisio, is truly a culinary gem! Here, good, honest cuisine with regional products is offered on a manageable menu. The number of tables is limited, so it is absolutely recommended to make a table reservation. The price-performance ratio is great! Of course, Italian is spoken, but also Slovenian, German and English. Anyone who can't resist the temptation to divide several dishes onto two plates will be generously rewarded with this option at no extra charge. This means you can enjoy several starters together. The drinks menu is very remarkable and includes all of Italy, a few French and all at really moderate prices. We would be happy to come back here next time and be very hungry. The fifth star for the kitchen in the rating comes about because the frequency of strawberry crumble on many dishes was not necessarily appropriate due to the acidity... but that shouldn't detract from the overall impression... 👍 🤗 PS: If you like my review, I'd be happy to give it a thumbs up! 😁👍

02/02/2025: A birthday dinner booked a week in advance. Unfortunately, the double shift system works poorly: by booking for 9.00 pm, it is better to arrive very calmly, because it creates annoying crowding in the narrow entrance and in front of the counter until at least 9.20 pm, it must be said, also due to the rudeness of many customers of the first shift who, although warned that they had to leave the table at 9.00 pm, didn't care and were late with their dinner. We ate pizza and it was very good. We didn't like the lemon sorbet, which everyone at the table took. The arrangement at the table on the first floor was a bit sacrificed and not exactly comfortable. Good service, a little long waiting time. A shame really, because the pizza is worth it, but it wasn't a smooth evening....
