Informal place but the friendliness, the good dishes and food as well as a good pizza make it a place that 'you can't wait to go back to'. In summer a splendid tree-lined outdoor area, detached from the mass of the center makes it a very pleasant place even for large groups. It has a darts room where sometimes regional competitions are organized. Correct quality/price ratio. Highly recommended

La Gargotta Gerenzana in Tavernola, Como, is one of those places that stays in your heart. A simple and familiar place, where you can breathe in tradition and where every detail transmits passion and authenticity. Every time I go there, I really feel at home: the staff is always friendly, welcoming and smiling, and the atmosphere is just right for a quiet and pleasant evening. You can feel that behind everything there is a management done with the heart. The pizza is simply fantastic - tasty, well-filled, with a perfect dough. But beyond the food, what I appreciate most is the warmth of the place. I have always heard good things about this restaurant, and I can only confirm every word. It is one of those rare places where you really enjoy returning. For me it is a point of reference, and every occasion is a good one to dine there.

We spontaneously looked for a restaurant, as we arrived at the Como campsite at an unplanned 9:30 p.m. The restaurant is a 10-minute walk from there. Despite the late hour, we received a friendly welcome and were able to grab something to eat. Lots of Italian guests 😀, great service, amazing pizza! and great prices. We sat outside; the setting is beautiful.

Owners and very kind staff, top pizza, the best in the Lombardy Region 😋👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 the margherita is the most recommended because it is the classic pizza and you can taste the real taste of pizza made by a pizza chef who is top🤩 Even the white pizza sausage and broccoli rabe is very good and super light 😋 top dough🤩🤩 And last but not least the arrosticini with French fries you can't miss 😋 It's a really nice place, trattoria style but very nice. If you want to eat a good pizza in Lombardy go to Gargotta Gerenzana in Tavernola, it's a guarantee and you won't be disappointed🤩👏🏻😋

We were here twice during our stay in Tavernola. The food was amazing! We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The place is always full and worth checking out. The pasta with the shrimps filling was very unique.

A quick walk from the Sheraton for some incredible pizza. Got the polenta gnocchi with veal and a random pizza flavor. The gnocchi was good but doesn’t compare to the pizza, so I would just get more pizza next time. Pizza was bomb. The crust is super thin and crispy so it doesn’t feel too filling. Ask for the spicy oil, you will not want to eat pizza again without it!

We actually stopped in Como on our way to Tuscany and went to the pizzeria by chance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dishes are tasty and made with love. Everything is freshly prepared and for a more than fair price. If we stay in Como for the price we will definitely come back.
