We stumbled across Ristorante Gambero Rosso during the afternoon riposo in Citavecchia. The atmosphere was quiet - the streets were very bare, on account of the siesta time and also the record heatwave, but very authentically Italian. Lovely staff who were friendly, and extremely patient with our terrible Italian. The food was incredible. We shared a starter between 2, each had a main and dessert, plus a couple of very large beers and a cocktail for just over EUR80, which seemed reasonable in our opinion.

Homemade, quality Italian cuisine. Various and tasty options of pasta, seafood... Good wines and a well-made and balanced Spritz. Excellent service. Thank you for making us feel at home!!!

I had the best Tortelli stuffed with fish of my Italy trip and the service was very friendly. A good spot!

Ho soggiornato a Civitavecchia per una notte e ho pranzato in questo ristorante ordinando un piatto di linguine al nero di seppia, pesto di pistacchio e gamberi rossi. Piatto in sé molto invitante, pasta cotta al punto giusto, buono il pesto di pistacchis i gamberi....potevate sprecarvi un po'....due contati nel piatto!!!! Veramente vergognoso per un piatto di 18€!!!! Peccato perché il ristorante è carino, bella la verandina, cortese e veloce il personale ma mi è sembrato un po' un furto!!!

Locale ben arredato con personale attento al cliente. Cibo di altissima qualità ben preparato e presentato. Abbiamo preso una selezione di antipasti della casa veramente gourmet e poi un bello spaghetto alle vongole, dolce, caffè e amaro...prezzo 50€ a testa con birra....
