I went with my wife and we both ordered a steak with potatoes. The food was excellent, very well prepared and tasty. The service, on the other hand, left a little to be desired. Still, the overall experience was positive. The restaurant is very modern, well decorated and pleasant. I recommend it and would certainly return.

We stumbled upon this place while exploring the neighborhood where our hotel is located, and it was a real find! The food was delicious, the prices were excellent, and the staff was very friendly. Excellent ❤️

Food is good, especially anything with cheese or tomato. Its mostly a takeaway place so the food is already made and on the displays and you just chose what you want, so dont go too late for lunch or there wont be many options left. The comunication with tourists could be better. There was only 1 worker that spoke english and when choosing the food you have to guess what it is and whats in it. Also, its normal for clients to go in with their dogs, so take that into consideration.

02/06/2026: A pleasant discovery on June 2nd. A welcoming, family-run place offering quality products and huge portions. We were four adults and four children, and with one course each, we were more than satisfied. Special mention for the gnocchi, the carbonara (with excellent bacon), the shank, and the tiramisu. Next time, I'll try the steak.
19/04/2026: I come to Monte Livata from Rome once or twice a year, knowing I'm coming to eat here! Anyone who complains about prices, hospitality, service, and food should relax and understand the situation outside of the big cities! A wonderful family that runs a business in an area that was dying until a year or two ago!!! Hang in there, even for us who appreciate your work. 💜 Stop watching food shows and writing bad reviews just for one bad day! €14 for a large first course, no, but if you're in Trastevere, you can spend up to €20? Do you understand how stupid this is? Thanks again. P.S. THE HOT TART IS AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE EVERY TIME 😍🫶

09/06/2026: This was a delightful surprise. We were referred here by the hotel an I discovered it had been on my must experience list for five years. The best gnocchi I have ever experienced! Hands down! So very friendly
08/06/2026: Everything you want after a day of walking around and seeing the sights. Fresh made pasta! The team was amazingly kind and attentive! Prices reasonably. Quaint atmosphere!
