Wonderful experience! The food was amazing and the owner really went out of his way to make us happy. From personalized service to giving us his umbrella to keep us from getting wet when we left his restaurant. I recommend everyone to go there, you won't regret it!

So the food is at the expected level for a menu at this price, even if the portions are small, especially for the meat where once the significant layer of fat from the suckling pig was removed there were only 2 mouthfuls left. The most annoying thing was the service... The head waiter comes and serves me a glass of prosecco, I say my wife doesn't drink alcohol, he replies oh well we don't serve anything without alcohol but I'll see if I have non-alcoholic wine, well why not... But there he goes to serve other tables in the process... Then he forgot. Anyway we had to ask for the glass... I tried the wine tasting it was okay even if one or two reds were a little warm. Then the service was very fast... Almost too fast.. And at the end we weren't asked how the meal went. The food apart from the portion of this suckling pig really small was not far from a star but the service not that...

This has reputation as being the best restaurant in Siena, and after experiencing it, it probably is. I treated my husband to a birthday meal here while we were in Italy and it was a good choice. The restaurant is very stylish, very Italian, and the service is excellent. We had the 7 course tasting experience with their choice of wine pairings and everything was en-point! The potato spaghetti with peas was probably my favourite course! I'm not a big fan of the usual spaghetti, but I loved this made from potato, and the peas were so fresh and tasty. Another favourite was the duck with orange - perfectly cooked duck and wonderful bitter orange sauce. I would definitely re-visit if in Siena again!
One tiny niggle was that I really didn't like the lard they gave us with the bread - I would have preferred olive oil or butter. I asked them to replace it, but they never did.

An unbeatable experience!
Yesterday we had the 7-course tasting menu for dinner and loved it. Almost the entire menu is gluten-free, and if not, they make small adjustments to make the dishes gluten-free. The staff is also clearly qualified.
The staff is very pleasant and friendly. One of the waiters who served us spoke Spanish very well, which allowed us to better understand the dishes.
Plus, they serve three delicious house appetizers.
Without a doubt, the experience is well worth it.

The architecture is a dream and wonderfully located. The furnishings are very sober and stylish. The waiters were very attentive and put their heart and soul into their work. We chose the 5 course menu and were overwhelmed. The taste explosions unexpected and overwhelming. Everything fresh and from our own cultivation. High level of expertise!
A slightly expensive evening, but worth it.

Spectacular!! We had dinner, artichoke, ravioli and suckling pig. Each dish is more top, especially the ravioli, which is its star dish. It is a place for a more special and romantic meal, looking for something more upscale than usual.

Vado subito al sodo,presto qui ci sarà la prima stella nella storia della ristorazione Senese.
La sola presenza nella Rossa è uno spreco per chi capisce un minimo di ristorazione,qui c’è alta competenza,qualità,visione,futuribilità,servizio e assoluta ambizione.
Il locale è totalmente rinnovato non dimenticando però le origini murarie,con un interno bellissimo tra storia e innovazione,la cucina è veramente top con idee di livello superiore con abbinamenti di gusti clamorosi senza voler strafare.
Abbiamo scelto un piatto migliore dell’altro,partendo dalla quaglia in fricassea, zabaione ai funghi, cavolo nero,passando per un eccellente raviolo alle tre carni, sugo d'arrosto, panna al BBQ, tartufo nero e per finire con agnello ,cipollotto, carciofi, aglio nero.
Nei due dolci eccezionali ha vinto di misura il cremoso di erborinato, datteri, french toast rispetto al chiboust, frolla, mela e limone.
Una grande esperienza culinaria che mi riempie di orgoglio in una città che,finalmente,presto vedrà brillare la prima stella.
E un plauso al personale,di cuore!

Toda la noche fue encantadora de principio a fin. Pedimos vegetariana y ellos atendieron encantadoramente a nuestras necesidades con intrincadas delicias. Cada plato fue una revelación. Esta es la mejor cocina en su mejor momento. El vino sugerido era excelente. El servicio fue impecable - atento y profesional. Muchas gracias a Rocco y al equipo.
