On vacation in this wonderful region from Milan, we dined at Fuori Porta for the first time last night: a truly refined discovery.
The location is breathtaking, just steps from the ancient walls of Oria. The cuisine is fantastic: incredibly fresh seafood dishes, carefully presented, showcasing every ingredient to its full potential. The quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite. The staff is friendly and professional. Fuori Porta is the ideal place for those who wish to savor the pleasures of Apulian cuisine. Highly recommended.

I would have liked to give this restaurant five stars, because I ate excellent fish and drank good wine, but on the second night, we took the liberty of pointing out that the spaghetti with clams had half a centimeter of oil, meaning the sauce hadn't been properly creamed. And, given that we probably should have sent it back instead of eating it (we did so because we were hungry), I wouldn't have charged my customers for it, especially those who spend more than €550 for two dinners.
I didn't take any photos, but I'm attaching one of a plate of linguine with clams and bottarga that I ate yesterday at La Barca restaurant in Rho, to show what should be left at the end.
In any case, Salvatore was kind and helpful with us, so I hope I don't receive a "sour" response, as I have with others, because criticism, when offered politely, should serve to improve and should be accepted.

Mi hanno consigliato questo ristorante a oria se volevamo mangiar del buon pesce fresco ,
Abbiamo ordinato del crudo di mare e qualche antipasto “ eviterei di scrivere qualche “piatti fatti veramente con sapori puliti e preparati anche agli occhi ,la scelta del primo dopo il consiglio di Salvatore e di un spaghetto allo scorfano scelto nella vetrina vasta di pesce fresco , waaaoooo che bontà !!!
Chiudiamo con un gran piatto mix di dolci e frutta, complimenti.
