Excellent Neapolitan pizza, comfortable environment, courteous and fast service. I will definitely return to eat a pizza from them.

Excellent digestible pizza: Mediterranean with vegetables (zucchini, aubergines and peppers probably pre-cooked in a wood oven... as they used to do... good memories... nowadays almost no pizzeria does it anymore)

After living in Lucca centro for 2 years with wonderful options for delicious pizza, we finally ventured outside the walls after reading the great reviews of Funiculì. We were not disappointed! Absolutely amazing pizza and arancini but the best part was the service. We arrived on a rainy night and were greeted with an authentic and warm welcome. It felt more like eating at a friend’s house and was far better than the typical tourist pizza restaurant that can be found all over Italy. Generous portions, fair price, authentic service, scrumptious food. We can’t wait to return!

Authentic and affordable outside the walls in San Concordio on the way to Esselungo. Only locals there. Loved it. Very friendly staff.

Siamo stati in questo locale più volte, situato appena fuori dalle mura. Bella pizzeria, con numerosi posti a sedere, la pizza è davvero molto molto buona. La scelta di pizze è vasta, la pizza è quella napoletana. Come antipasto consiglio il tris di pizze fritte, superlative. Ottimi prezzi e servizio veloce. Conviene prenotare perché è sempre pieno.

Few times have I found myself writing reviews happy to do so: this is one of them. The location is excellent: away from the confusion and with a well-organized outdoor space. The cuisine is true Neapolitan cuisine. We only ate pizza (excellent, well seasoned, with a good dough with a high and well-worked crust), but I saw other Neapolitan dishes that brought my memory back to those cooked by my mother, originally from Naples. But the real leap into the past was the Neapolitan pastiera, ordered even though I was already full and only for the sake of a sensorial journey into the tradition of that splendid land that is Naples. Last but not least, the friendliness, helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff (from the owners to the collaborators) is something that enormously enriched the experience of an ordinary evening spent in Lucca. Thanks to all of you. Really. You made our trip memorable!

Fantastic Neapolitan pizza! Good and digestible. Impeccable service. Very kind staff and owner, even with children and teenagers! The only thing that could possibly be improved would be the poor soundproofing and the too hot inside, but with the good weather this is remedied with the tables outside. And by the way, everything else is so worth it! We will return and bring friends!
