Passing through I stop for a short lunch with my wife. I must say that the food is good and the waiting time is very short. The unpleasant notes are all related to the service. I am greeted by a girl with a loud HELLO and made to sit at a table near the door which, being in an outdoor place on the lakefront, is continually opened and closed. When I asked to be placed elsewhere I was told that there were no other tables and, to make the situation worse, I was given a heating mushroom attached to the table. After us, 3 other couples entered and were seated by separating a small table set for 4 and the third couple on a small table at the back also set for 4. So 5 stars for the cuisine, 4 for the environment but the service lies deserve the minimum possible. A place that has been open for 75 years cannot be lost for this nonsense. Will I go back? If I am greeted with a calm good morning sir and I am not told any more tall tales, certainly yes.

Place with tables in Piazza del Molo. Very good food at affordable prices....the only flaw in my trofie with pistachios was no trace of the red prawns, as per the menu, but there were small pieces of salmon......pity! Dec24: the fried anchovies were good but the French fries were even better!!! Inedible bread.
