The real shame was that we could only go there twice! We tried cuoppi, mussels, spaghetti with clams - very good -, but we would have liked to try everything. Simple formula, spartan but kind service; if you arrive late the queue can be long but still flowing. Don't miss it!

Very familiar environment and quick and easy cuisine, at least during our period of stay here (low season) We dined here during octopus week, so we had the option of having a complimentary glass of wine for the octopus dishes. Really good food, I recommend it!

Can't do much about the atmosphere, I mean it's a parking lot with food trucks. But the people (customers and employees of the stands) make it much nicer and fun. 3 stars for the food because honestly Scalea offers much better in seafood quality, at a similar price. I did not try everything they have on the menu, only the cuoppi, so 1 extra star for the variety they offer and the fact it's all available even late at night.

Found by accident while walking. It works only in the evening, at the market square.... in one hour an amazing transformation from an empty square to an atmospheric restaurant under the stars... Italian street food for the gifts of the sea.... delicious, simple and delightful... Amazing atmosphere... I recommend visit in Scalea.

Questo locale trovato per caso è perfetto per una cena informale abbiamo mangiato una pasta con le vongole davvero buonissima e 2 cuoppi . Di ritorno dal mare e’ perfetto !

08/04/2025: It is Naples with the scent and flavor of the sea. Driven, I admit, by the reviews, in search of a "real" and non-touristy place, I wanted to try it. All true. The place is beautiful and picturesque, the waiters are simple and smiling, I tasted the fried food which is so far the best I have tasted and the scialatielli with swordfish and aubergines. They almost took my hands off the bread for holding it before trying it with the sauce... and they were right. I have to go back for the paccheri... oh I forgot. The craze for bulk wine testing. Here it was still, without bubbles, but full of flavor. I have to ask the name of the vine... well... for the "street food of the four alleys" series, for now, the Azzurra fish shop and its little restaurant are at the top.
