I've been coming to Freestate for several years, and the experience is always incredible, in every way. It's a superior pizzeria, where the quality of the dishes is truly unique: from the rich and well-designed appetizers to the house pizzas, spectacular in their flavor, quality, and originality. It's a confirmation every time. I've had the opportunity to experience it for dinner, lunch, and even as a bar, and at every moment of the day, the place maintains high standards and consistent quality. The pizzas are made with excellent ingredients, carefully crafted doughs, and never-ending combinations, while the appetizers perfectly round out the experience. The staff is very kind and friendly, always attentive and helpful. A special mention goes to the owners, Gianfranco and Max, who are incredibly personable and create a family-friendly and authentic atmosphere that makes you want to return. The place is very large, with ample indoor and outdoor space, and is also very characteristic, perfect for both evenings with friends and more relaxed moments. The prices are absolutely in line with what's offered: quality, quantity, and attention to detail fully justify the price. I've been there many times and will definitely return. A highly recommended place, reliable over time and capable of surprising every time. 🍕🔥

Excellent raw materials well prepared

The proverbial mistrust of special occasion lunches has crumbled! It's all thanks to this restaurant, pizzeria, and bar in Ruvo di Puglia: a welcoming and simple place, with top-notch service thanks to their helpfulness, kindness, and efficiency in meeting guests' needs. Excellent food presented with elegance and refinement (from appetizers to first and second courses—exquisite, to say the least!)—and to finish, fruit and classic and Christmas desserts. Unlimited drinks (including wine) await you! Highly recommended!

Great experience at the new, expanded and renovated location, which I really like. At the table, we were greeted by plates decorated with Ruvian dialect phrases. 😂 We had pizza with beers and still water. Refined ingredients are used in the new menu, where the prices are a little higher than average, but it's worth it. I recommend the "maialino fiammeto" pizza, which is served with a real flame 😂, and the "pistacchiona" pizza with a ricotta-filled crust, which is simply divine. 😍 I still have to try the bar area, where I want to try the white chocolate croissant with various types of coffee and cappuccino, and some salads that piqued my curiosity. The staff is kind, polite, and efficient. Definitely worth a try. 💯

Excellent venue penalized by acoustics This pizzeria and restaurant stands out for its location and the undeniable quality of its products. Unfortunately, the overall experience is severely compromised by a very serious acoustic problem. The venue suffers from particularly poor acoustics: when the restaurant is full, the noise level becomes unbearable. The reverberation and static make conversation extremely difficult, and at the end of the evening, the annoyance caused by the din is what lingers most, even overshadowing the positive aspects of the cuisine. A targeted intervention with the installation of sound-absorbing panels or other acoustic solutions would be desirable. Considering the investment already made in the quality of the food, improving the acoustics would be a necessary complement to offering an experience worthy of the rest. It's a real shame that a venue with such potential is penalized by a technically solvable issue.

Recently renovated, this restaurant offers dining in the spectacular courtyard of an ancient building. The staff is friendly and helpful. A wide variety of pizzas, all delicious. A definite must!

Beautiful location and good food, perhaps with too much focus on the uniqueness of the dishes rather than the substance. The service, however, was disorganized and inattentive to the order, resulting in a few mistakes in the bill.
