It was a wait (even with a reservation) and I considered finding another restaurant but I'm so glad I didn't. As can see from other reviews a very tight and cozy place. 18 people tops. The food was fantastic. Gnocchi was absolutely amazing simple but with great flavor. The black truffle tagliatelle probably best thing I've had in all of Italy. If can deal with the wait it's totally worth it.

A welcoming place with super helpful staff and dishes that left me speechless. I tried La Gricia, La Carbonara, and L'Amatriciana, and I can assure you, I've never had anything this good. If I were from the area, I'd definitely be there. Highly recommended, one of the best, if not the best, in central Rome and beyond.
PS: We also had the tiramisu, which was also incredible 😂.

A welcoming place, certainly on a human scale, with excellent use of interior space. Cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. The menu is simple yet characteristic of old-world Roman cuisine. Pasta and charcuterie boards are the mainstays, both excellently crafted. The young staff is in keeping with the simple yet engaging menu, with constant attention to the customer and the success of this culinary experience.
The wine list is also noteworthy, excellent and excellent value.
In short, if you're passing through Via Veneto, I recommend spending 30 minutes here to complete your Roman experience.

Great experience.
Very nice place but quite small. Our table was a bit sketchy, but at least they seated us with a reservation very quickly.
We ate very well; the cacio e pepe was excellent, as were some bruschetta.
I'd love to go back, maybe during the week.

We were very well attended and the food was impeccable, it's a shame that the space is small because more people should be able to visit the place, we went twice because we loved it and only once did we have to wait but it was a quick wait, it's very worth it!!

This place is truly a hidden gem! Everything was amazing. The lasagna was one of the best I have ever had. You know it is authentic when Italians also go there.

Wow. Just wow. Small 18 seat restaurant in the basement that you’d never find without Google… but it should be front and centre on your list. It was so good that we ate here the next night. Our servers both nights were great, but the main feature here is the food. You can tell it’s all homemade and put together with passion and care. Absolutely delicious. Would make a reservation though as it is very small.

Comimos aquí cuando visitamos Roma en febrero, así que cuando decidimos visitar Roma de nuevo en abril, el primer lugar que fuimos a cenar fue aquí, ya que es tan condenadamente bueno, solo tienen 6 mesas y siempre están ocupados, así que recomendaría reservar una mesa con antelación! La comida es deliciosa y a un precio muy razonable, el servicio es de primera clase también, en nuestros 2 viajes a Roma este año, este restaurante es de lejos nuestro favorito y eso es decir algo como comimos en algunos grandes restaurantes.
