Perfect food, great atmosphere and gentleman host. If you are in Bologna and looking for authentic Italian cuisine this is the place!

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to all our needs. My partner and I had delicious tortellini in broth and the braised beef cheek was superb!

Keeper of tradition, with tasty variations. Very welcoming place, with warm wood paneling and opulent finishes, well attended. Very professional, attentive and thoughtful staff, with appropriate knowledge of languages. Cellar for all needs, excellent q/p ratio. In the summer, outdoor tables.

Great restaurant find in Bologna! Fantastic Bolognese food, a great wine selection and the staff were all amazing. We will definitely be back!

A real Bolognese restaurant with a family atmosphere. Every time I'm in Bologna I visit Franco Rossi. I recommend everyone to add it to their list of places to visit.

Historic restaurant in the center of Bologna offers quality traditional cuisine. They welcome us very well and we find a small plate with three gressini each at the table. Dishes with embroidered cotton underplates (it reminded me so much of grandma's cooking 👵) the service charge also includes bread and really excellent crescenta. It deserves the cost. Appetizer with radicchio and pink grapefruit. Good but in my opinion the cost is too much. To a second course where there is more expensive raw material and more processing. The second courses you see in the photo They are excellent 😋 maybe just a little in quantity. The chef caught me eating the roast lamb ribs with my hands 😋 and had a laugh 🤭 top rating 🔝 for sympathy. Good dessert. So it's not a place for all budgets. The quality is very good. A note (hence only 4 stars) for some prices. The cheek is fantastic 😎 almost any price is fine. But an artichoke appetizer is too expensive Compared to the cost of a second course. It is certainly a good place, but you have to choose some main courses from the menu and perhaps 🤔 leave the others. I will return because I would like to try the first courses that seemed tempting. It is not uncommon to find TV personalities or VIPs from a few years ago who regularly pop into the place. The clientele is obviously not very young but very classy. 🤗

A little gem in the heart of Bologna. Everything is perfect, from the appetizer, to the main courses (lasagna alla bolognese and sautéed kidney) to a spectacular dessert (mascarpone cream with amaretti and hot chocolate) all accompanied by a powerful macerated Trebbiano (Piuttosto, Tre Monti). For lovers of original and perfectly executed recipes. (Impeccable service!!!)

Deliciosa Ternera con papas y espinacas. Un maravilloso vino tinto para acompañar el plato principal. Tiramisu de postre. Servicio rápido y personal atento.

Se volete assaggiare i veri primi tipici emiliani non potete non venire a mangiare in questo ristorante! Io ne ho provati addirittura quattro, uno più buono dell’altro! Consigliatissime le lasagne. Un po’ deludenti i dolci, sia nell’aspetto che nella consistenza (crema della zeppola grumosissima e avari di amarene… Una! :( ) Nonostante il locale sia enorme (su due piani con tante salettine) il servizio è stato velocissimo. Ci sono stati offerti dei salumi nell’attesa, molto graditi (diciamo che ci sta con 3,50€ di coperto…) Prezzi non turistici.
