Franco Rossi In Bologna

The atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming, the staff helpful, kind, and attentive to every detail. The location is clean, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the typical Bolognese products. I recommend it to everyone!

Wonderful, wonderful restaurant. As first courses, my wife had tortellini in brodo and I had spaghetto aglio olio with anchovy and buratta cheese. Both were brilliant. For second, we split a cotoletta Boglonese (veal cutlet) which came with a small side of potatoes. Also wonderful. We topped the meal off with vin santo and panna cotta. The restaurant itself is charming, a perfect balance of comfort and elegance. Service was perfect too. We're sorry we're leaving Bologna tomorrow because we can't come back here for a while. But this was a memorable meal in every way.

Small restaurant with an old-fashioned atmosphere, not suitable for fussy customers

The space is rather small, and the tables are very close together, so much so that it feels like you're sharing your meal with the people sitting next to you, yet the atmosphere remains pleasant. Mr. Franco is a true character, capable of bringing color and warmth to the experience. The waiters are also distinguished by their warmth, kindness, and friendliness. The cuisine is the real highlight: tasty, carefully prepared traditional dishes. The pumpkin tortelloni were a real hit, and the burrata with anchovies was a delicacy that melted in your mouth. The wine selection was also very pleasant. Lunch here was truly a pleasure. A sincere, satisfying place, rich in local flavors.

The recommended appetizer, lasagna, porcini mushrooms and steak, and the tiramisu dessert were all excellent.
