We went there for lunch. Selected from the a la carte menu. Each dish was innovative and fresh. A must go restaurant when in Modena.

Everything was excellent! I highly recommend the tasting menu! Great atmosphere, great service, and the food was served perfectly! Everything was beautifully presented and tastefully done!

Food was good but Not. Great, Service were super off - weites 30 min Till we had orderd, the First Drink and 45 min ill the First bite. Not worth the Hype

Since I couldn't aspire to the Franciscan Osteria, I "settled" for this bistro. Excellent experience (the Emilia Burger was fantastic), reasonable prices, and top-notch service.

Ho festeggiato qui il mio compleanno e non avrei potuto scegliere posto migliore! L’atmosfera intima, il personale seppur giovane, è stato gentilissimo ed attento ad ogni dettaglio. Sul cibo c’è poco da dire, ogni piatto è curato con attenzione e si percepisce la professionalità degli chef e la qualità delle materie prime. È assolutamente vietato non assaggiare i tortellini, appagano l’anima!!!

Entonces. Somos amantes de la comida y hemos tenido muchas experiencias maravillosas en todo el mundo. Tenía grandes expectativas, pero me quedé decepcionado. La comida era bastante aburrida. Hicimos pescatariado y gracias a Dios. Otros que tenían platos de carne no estaban muy contentos, especialmente con las piruletas de foie gras. Nos dijeron que el Chef pasaría por aquí, pero al final de la comida, se anunció que prefería quedarse en casa y ver fútbol. No me importaba que no se pasara, solo que era hortera decir que estaba saludando a los huéspedes en el otro restaurante y que vendría justo después. Todo el mundo merece tiempo libre, fue justo la forma en que se manejó. No hay nada especial en el menú, la habitación no es impresionante, el servicio estaba bien. Los vinos eran buenos. Nos fuimos sintiéndonos muy decepcionados por la experiencia general. Ninguna creatividad.

Simposio Dei Sensi

03/09/2025: It's my FAVORITE restaurant, my favorite place, where time stands still and the rest of the world stays outside, a refined and sophisticated place. As soon as you walk in the door, you're enchanted by the display case and the assortment of cheeses and cured meats. The restaurant has been selected nationally to organize high-level events. Stefano is wonderful, kind, helpful, highly knowledgeable, the perfect host 🤩 It's a family-run business and you can taste it in the flavor of their dishes.
23/08/2025: The Simposio dei Sensi, a place that won me over. Refined, welcoming, with particular attention to the choice of raw materials. Upon entering, you're enchanted by the two refrigerated counters, one stocked with a carefully selected cheese selection and the other with a unique selection of cured meats. There's no menu; the waiter will tell you about it because it changes so often. WHAT I ATE: I chose the tortelli filled with Stilton, a French blue cheese, served on a bed of pumpkin cream with raspberry drops. A very balanced and delicious dish. Next, a shin of patanegra (a type of ham) on a bed of mashed potatoes—it was simply delicious. The manager, on his own initiative, brought us a small tasting of Roccaverano robiola and Grigentana goat cheese with lavender honey—a true delicacy. For dessert, a crème brulee—perfect. ● WHAT I DRINK: On the owner's recommendation, I drank a 2021 Pletter Lagrein from Cesconi, a wine that paired perfectly with the dishes. Excellent choice. ● VENUE: The place is very welcoming with a very relaxing atmosphere. Not at all noisy. ● STAFF: The service was impeccable, the waiter very attentive and made us feel at ease. ● PRICE: The price of €95 per couple was reasonable considering the quality of the dishes and the service. ● TIP: If you're looking for a place with high-quality traditional cuisine, where the ingredients are carefully selected, Simposio dei Sensi is an excellent choice. Try it! The place is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, so book in advance.

29/10/2025: A small venue steeped in Formula 1 history... the owners are welcoming and very helpful.
24/10/2025: A welcoming and informal restaurant, historic and very traditional. It offers a rich menu, especially among the first courses (excellent, with homemade pasta made just like in the old days, and generously seasoned!) and the main courses, mostly meat-based. The flans, desserts, and bread basket are delicious. In season, truffle-based dishes are also available.
