There's nowhere to sit or get coffee, but they have desserts – I mean, the sweet ladies who know their stuff have made really good, simple cakes with excellent creams. I'm not exaggerating, we really loved them. I even told my husband we shouldn't buy anything or sit down, but then we came all this way and thought we'd at least get something simple to take away, and wow, it was amazing!

I want to go back to Florence just to visit this shop!! I went there every three days of my stay, except for Sundays when it was closed. 🥹 There was always a long line of locals, so I had to wait, but it was worth it. 💞 The schicciata della fiorentina I had on my birthday was the best cake I've ever had. The crostata, filled with a nutty mix, was just like my grandmother's homemade cake. 😭 I regret not going back to the airport to buy more pies. 😭😭 Thank you for creating such happy memories that will last a lifetime. I hope you'll continue to visit this place again.
When you enter the shop, try saying hello in Italian first. It's a way to show respect to the owners of this small, cozy shop. 🤍 I've fallen in love with this shop so much that I hesitated to write a review because I didn't want it to become even more crowded with tourists. But I have no other way to express my love, so I'm writing this. 💟

A historic traditional bakery. I love the Budino di Riso Italian Rice Pudding Tart. A traditional Florentine dessert, the tart has a crisp, buttery crust and a filling of creamy, sugary, and vanilla flavors, all cooked together with Italian rice. It's a simple, comforting, and homely dessert from Florence.

Very friendly owners, they well handmade cantucci by mass which is a great souvenir to bring back! Opens in the morning serving fresh pastries and bread. Empty cornetto had a sugar glaze, flaky, really soft and slightly buttery on the inside and paired so well with coffee. The baked meringue melted in my mouth but was slightly sweet, it pairs so well with coffee. Apricot crostini wasn’t too sweet and had a natural flavor. Very affordable prices, full of locals, but only takeaways (you should bring it back to the hotel to enjoy)

Everything was delicious!
We ordered several desserts to go to try the next morning, and they were all delicious, fresh, and of great quality. You could taste the care and attention to detail. Furthermore, the lady who served us was very kind and welcoming. We would definitely return!
