We had dinner here on a recommendation from a local prior to joining a cruise the following day. Outstanding meals in all respects, the service was first class with our waiter matching wines to our meals. Well deserving of their Michelin rating. We still talk about that meal.

Very nice place, a former bunker of the 2WW that extends along the length of the restaurant.
I ordered the 8-course menu with wine pairing: very good and interesting dishes, using excellent ingredients and excellent technical skills, excellent value for money, not surprisingly, it is listed among the Michelin starred restaurants.

We dined at this very pleasant and characteristic restaurant, with stone interiors creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We enjoyed a tasting menu designed by the chef and were truly satisfied. For our entrée, we were greeted with bread, butter, and anchovies—a small touch that was much appreciated. Among the dishes, the egg carbonara was excellent, creamy and intense, and the crispy octopus glazed with soy sauce, well-executed and flavorful. The first course was a sea bass amatriciana revisited with short tube pasta, original and very balanced. The second course was the black pig ribs, tender and flavorful.
We paired everything with a Franciacorta Rosé "Ele" from the Ca' de Pazzi winery, a perfect match for the dishes we ate: fresh, elegant, and of excellent quality, with excellent value. We were so satisfied and full that we didn't have time for dessert.
The staff were very kind and attentive, and the cuisine was meticulously prepared: a truly pleasant experience that we highly recommend.

A wonderful dining experience, with special dishes featuring unique, multifaceted flavors. Everything was light, perfectly balanced, authentic, and truly brought out the authentic flavors of the ingredients. From appetizers to first courses, second courses, and dessert, everything was a journey of taste. Excellent! There was a small improvement in the service, which was very technical and well-prepared, but a bit detached/mechanical, even rough at times: the aim is to blend food and wine culture with hospitality and customer service. The price of the dinner was increased by the choice of fine wine, but it was truly appropriate, in keeping with the experience, and well worth the expense!

Forma was a delightful surprise. We loved it at first sight. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, with marble tables alternating black and white, like a checkerboard. Sofas line the wall, comfortable and elegant chairs, an open wine display, a barrel vault, and warm but unobtrusive lighting. The welcome is a complimentary gift from the house, with a tasting of a slice of multi-grain bread with flavored butter and anchovies, along with other seafood delicacies that the chef recommends eating with your hands. The other seafood dishes showcase imagination and creativity, with a selection of top-quality ingredients, for an orchestra of flavors. The peanut-crusted tuna is superb. The house oil, sourced from an olive grove in the Viterbo area owned by the chef, is also excellent. The desserts are also excellent. The staff is knowledgeable and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Interesting to try. A different take on Italian cuisine. It's great for tourists, and even for young people. But Civitavecchia's people like something else: very small portions and expensive. What we liked most was the guy who served us. Very good and kind.
