The large table of childhood friends that cements the bonds of affection, the place with the most pronounced autumnal charm among foliage and crystal-clear streams, a walk rich in encounters with mushrooms and even an unexpected wolf, overshadow the well-prepared dishes. A magical place, enchanting, and wonderful are the adjectives used by those who frequented it for the first time. As for the dishes offered: traditional dishes, gnocchi, chitarra with porcini mushrooms, beautifully presented grilled scamorza, grilled lamb just the way you've always wanted it with potatoes and vegetables, all very welcome. Looking forward to the polenta to close out the season.

We had lunch at this family-run restaurant nestled in the Fonte Romana beech forest during a wonderful e-bike excursion, and it was an experience we will long remember. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, surrounded by nature and the silence of the forest. The menu offers traditional Abruzzo dishes, cooked with simplicity and great care: authentic flavors, generous portions, and quality ingredients that truly reflect the region. The service is friendly and welcoming; we felt more like guests than customers. A perfect place for those who want to combine the pleasure of a day outdoors with an authentic gastronomic experience, immersed in the heart of the Majella. Highly recommended!

06/11/2025: Keep in mind that the place and the setting are decidedly rustic, but that's precisely the beauty of it, and you have to adapt to it. On the other hand, the appetizers evoke local and homegrown flavors, crafted by expert, time-honored hands. The pizza/pinza is absolutely DELICIOUS, a crunchy fruit of passion and sourdough that doesn't leave a heavy taste. Local compliments, but ALL DESERVED 👏🥓🥩🍕
