In our opinion, the fried foods and all the focaccias offered are excellent. The desserts are very good, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant, well-air conditioned but not overly so, even for lunch on a very hot day.

We were very satisfied. Friendly staff. Very nice restaurant, beautifully decorated, and clean. The drinks and food arrived quickly and were very, very delicious. The dessert, tiramisu and crema catalana, was also delicious. We would definitely recommend making a reservation. We will definitely come back if we have the chance.

The place is very nice, but there are some flaws. The table setting, for starters; as soon as you use your napkin, the cutlery remains in direct contact with the table. The service wasn't exactly attentive, considering that, not being local, we had to ask what the fried food consisted of and received a list of names that a foreigner wouldn't understand (so I had to ask again to specify what it was). The focaccia wasn't to our liking, but I think this is purely subjective and not related to the quality of the products.

Simply exquisite. A delightful roadside restaurant. The story of Recco's cheese focaccia. I hadn't been here in a while. I remembered how delicious this focaccia was, but coming back to try it again made me realize how different it is from all the others. Even if you pay a little more, it's worth it.

It deserves 5 stars for the deliciousness of the Recco focaccia, but serving it on a wooden board (plywood) is unhygienic and also takes away some of the flavor, not to mention the fact that they won't wash it in the dishwasher. The service is young, but there's room for improvement, especially with a little more customer service.

Di ritorno da un viaggio in Francia ci siamo fermati da Manuelina e ci siamo presentati senza prenotazione e alle 21.45 quindi le premesse non erano delle migliori .. e invece non appena abbiamo aperto la porta d’ingresso , ci hanno accolto 2 ragazze e il responsabile con dei sorrisi quasi a dire : vi stavamo aspettando!! Nel giro di pochi minuti ci hanno fatto accomodare e in tempo davvero breve ci hanno servito. Tutti i ragazzi dello staff davvero degni di nota : gentili , sorridenti , disponibili purtroppo doti rare da trovare tutte insieme di questi tempi e invece qui ci sono !! Passiamo al piatto per eccellenza : la famosa focaccia che sintetizzo per comodità in squisita , sublime , speciale !! Quindi se volete provare una delle focacce più buone di Recco c’è più di un motivo per fermarsi da Manuelina , non perdetevela !!

La focaccia è buonissima , abbiamo provato sia la classica che quella con il culatello . Molto buono l’accoppiamento con le birre artigianali locali . Il personale è molto gentile . Consigliatissimo .

Caccia C'a Bugge

14/08/2025: 2025: A traditional stop. For the first time in twenty years, I couldn't eat Ligurian-style ravioli. I recovered from the shock and consoled myself with some wonderful agnolotti with roast beef sauce, a tartare with toma cheese, and Krumiri di "Mosto" with custard. Thank you, Fabio, and all the staff for being there. 2024: This year, I managed to stop in Campo Ligure twice, and both visits ended at my favorite restaurant. Superlative as always. A plus offered by this little spot in the Ligurian mountains, not far from the A26 motorway, is Fabio's mastery, not only as a chef but also as a sommelier. The Dolcetto paired with ravioli and rabbit proved superb. The stop was further enhanced by the opportunity to visit the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The village itself is also very characteristic, with an exceptional climate. As is now tradition, we stopped in Campo Ligure on our way back from vacation in Liguria, and as always, we stopped at Caccia C'a Bugge. What can I say? Fabio outdid himself once again. The pesto-filled mandilli and Ligurian-style ravioli were exquisite, not to mention the stuffed rabbit and the Fassona roast beef. Everything was delicious, made even better by a Verdicchio Superiore recommended by his son, the restaurant manager. Over the years, the restaurant has added a summer terrace and staff in the kitchen and dining room, a testament to the growing customer loyalty to this standard-bearer of Ligurian cuisine and fine drinking. The years pass, but the story of our love for Fabio's cuisine, which began way back in 1992, continues unabated, awaiting next year.
14/08/2025: Excellent lunch, but the place was too hot inside. We'll be back in the winter.
