Glauco - Gelati In Roma

Excellent traditional gelato! So much better than the 'tourist-y' gelato places with food colorings and artificial flavors.

I didn't like the ice cream, it tasted “mealy” although it tasted the same as in other ice cream shops.

Gelateria Glauco is definitely an ice cream shop that mainly attracts tourists, being in the Cavour area. Obviously the prices are higher than average and although there aren't many places to sit, the place itself is very welcoming and inviting for those who want to enjoy an ice cream in the centre. I took salted caramel and American cookies, adding a caramel macaron on top. Honestly, the salted caramel lacked that salty accent, but otherwise I have to say that I really liked it and the staff are really friendly! (I thank Patrick so much!!!) I recommend everyone to try the American cookies flavor!!!!!

I like a Gelato Shop when there is few original flavours. Excellent people working in the shop.

Yummy gelato. Not hundreds of flavours to choose from which isn't always a bad thing. 7€ for a 3 scoop cone. Added toppings of macaron was a nice touch, obv had to pay extra for it but not much. Can't remember exactly how much. Small aesthetic shop.
