Fish&Chips Finger Food In Carrara

Please note: summer opening hours start at 5:30 PM. It's closed for lunch. It's a shame I only discovered this after arriving (around 1 PM).

We were craving fried food after a long trip, and our go-to fry shop no longer exists. The manager was helpful. The atmosphere was basic. The fish was freshly fried and of good quality. The portions were small for the price. We weren't satisfied.

Top gluten-free... We had dinner at this little kiosk, what can I say... a sublime discovery. I'm celiac and I had the mixed fried fish and anchovies, delicious. The anchovies were incredibly fresh, arriving that day from Monterosso. I recommend this place for its freshness and gluten-free goodness. And to finish on a high note, I tried the freshly made ciambella (delicious). Thank you so much to those who think of us sailors. .

Everything is gluten-free and delicious!! The fried food is incredibly crispy and delicious! The staff is friendly and very welcoming. Highly recommended for celiacs and non-celiacs alike. I was with a group of non-celiacs, and we all left feeling full, happy, and eager to return.

We stopped here for a quick bite because we didn't want to have a full lunch. The restaurant is completely gluten-free and has been AIC certified since 2017. In addition to fried foods, they also offer a few first courses. We ordered a portion of French fries and a portion of mixed fried fish with shrimp, anchovies, and calamari. As a non-celiac, I can say that the fried fish was truly delicious and light. My partner, however, who is celiac, called it fabulous and said it was the best fried fish she's ever eaten. The restaurant is small inside, but there are several tables outside. The owner is super kind and helpful; after eating, we stopped to chat with him about celiac disease and why he opened this business. We had a great time, and if we have the chance to be in the area, we'll definitely be back to try other dishes. Congratulations 😋

Mixed fried fish, good, arranged flat on a plate like a sunburst, but a bit pricey for the portion. The dog didn't eat the shrimp...

The fried food is freshly prepared, and freshness is a strong point of this place. However, the portions (for example, the fish and chips) could be improved, as they're quite light and skewed more toward chips than fish. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is small but quiet and relaxed. Good prices, I recommend it.

Small place (4 covered tables on the veranda, 4 outside) that does everything gluten-free, in the pedestrian center of Marina di Carrara. There's a long wait (there's only one person), but everything is fried to order. The fried food is well done and not too greasy, and the ingredients seem high-quality (the calamari is excellent, and the sgabeo is very good). The fish dishes are expensive (perhaps too much), especially considering the portions (at least the calamari portion, which is very small). The other prices are fine, and the menu is varied, even with sweet options (bombolone). Very friendly staff. I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because of the prices. A paradise for celiacs :) I occasionally come to Sarzana specifically for this, and I'll be back.
