Finisterrae In Firenze

We organized our wedding lunch for a few close friends and never was a more appropriate and right choice! From the location in the heart of Piazza Santa Croce, to the refined style of the different rooms, to the courtesy and professionalism of the waiters up to the quality of the food with an unbeatable price... not to mention the pastry shop that prepared an exquisite cake for us! Truly speechless for the fantastic experience they made us live, thank you, we will definitely be back!

The sweet and cute short-haired girl introduced us to the menu and shared her preferences. We can feel her familiarity, professionalism and enthusiasm for the menu. Her plate-sharing assistance completely exceeded expectations and far exceeded the expected service level. The food standard is extremely high. , far exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t help but want to take a photo with the service staff before I left. Don’t miss this wonderful dining experience.

The place is a little pretentious. The woman collecting money had a pained face for having to assist us. The guy at the bakery was very nice uh she even yelled at him. I think that if they have someone in front of them they should at least smile since they are in hospitality and in reality it was not friendly and a little sharp. I also recommend the glazed strawberry dessert and the cannolis. Just don't expect happy faces from everyone. It seems a bit pretentious, I came to try their desserts and the guy serving was a kind and nice but the main hostess or whatever she is at the font charging had a painful face even to name a beer. Also I didn't appreciate her yelling at the baker. If you're in hospitality I think that you should at least pretend to try to be less mad. Nevertheless, I recommend the strawberry cake and cannolis. Just don't expect a happy face.

Love the pizza 🍕 bread and gigantic tomahawk

We came as a tour group and was seated in the back. We had the florentine steak which is cooked a very different way that we are used to. It pretty rare and not seasoned. It’s chewy and gives the jaw a good exercise. The desserts are good though the panna cotta has a touch too much gelatin I feel. Overall, an interesting experience in Florence.

A good place to eat with reasonable prices, pleasant staff. The only thing was that the literal charcuterie board came with 3 pieces of each cold cuts, which were 3 different ones and seemed quite expensive to me.... The second course was very delicious spaghetti carbonara. And we were grateful that they gave us a bottle of bread oil, which was really delicious. Two of us ate there.

It's OK for a coffee, but a lot of commotion, noise!

Establecimiento convenido con el b&b en que nos alojamos. Abierto desde muy pronto y servicio ágil. Croisants rellenos muy ricos (pistacho y crema deliciosos !) Mucho que decir que muchos trabajadores de la ciudad desayunan allí 😜 Café bueno y zumo de naranja natural Terraza e interior con aire acondicionado. Muchos pajaritos aprovechan tus migas …

We have often eaten in Finisterrae, both lunches and dinners. The location and setting right on Santa Croce square, with the coming and going of this top historic piazza in Florence , is a huge plus. There is an outdoor terrace for summer dining, and numerous individually decorated and styled rooms inside. The rooms have excellent A/C, and the patio in summer has misters to cool. The quality of the food is outstanding, a main reason to go! All very fresh and local, tasty, attractive, decent portions, and a good varied menu. Very reasonable prices. Excellent wines by the glass. The staff, waiters especially head waiter Andrea, and Boss Colin are SO friendly and accommodating, and really do go out of their way to make you feel welcome and happy. There is an attached bar for wonderful gelato and drinks if desired. As a long time visitor to Florence, for me, it is THE best place to eat in Florence!!! AND it won't break the bank!!! DO go.
