A treasure trove of delicious Venus and lasagna, and a wonderfully friendly staff. I highly recommend it if you're near the center of Bologna. Excellent food.

Excellent food, great hospitality, and superb service! The San Petronio bread and Brioscia Bolognese are outstanding... I've been shopping here for a few years and have always been satisfied. Very friendly staff.

If you're ever in Bologna, don't miss this shop! The charcuterie is fabulous, the cheeses are excellent, and Franco's love for his products is admirable.

06/03/2026: Il Portone is a wonderful place to be! The atmosphere is rustic and refined, and the people who welcome us are nothing short of special. Is that enough to make a restaurant a great one? No... Indeed... The food is amazing, respectful of tradition, excellent quality, and a good variety... When we can't make it there for a few weeks... We miss it. Thanks to those who still work so passionately.
10/02/2026: You can eat well in traditional and pizzeria style. The pizza is delicious.
