Excellent dinner, friendly and professional service.
I highly recommend the eggplant rolls and especially the lamb.
The wine list is excellent, with several selections from well-known producers.

Great experience. They were able to find room for us, without a reservation, on a busy Friday night. The atmosphere was perfect and the service great. I had the ravioli felice and it was very good. The waiters were attentive and quick. All around a great experience and highly recommended

I’m disappointed with this place, it was recommended by a friend but I don’t think I will go back.
Taste: was ok it was a good pasta but nothing to die for or that you say omg best pasta I have tried.
We order mozzarella as antipasto and the presentation was very sad as another review mentioned.
But the main reason what I will never go back is the service.
I asked is the restaurant has wifi and the server was very rude he say yes but I don’t know the password, (his tone was rude)
Later I asked another server about a dish and he answered I don’t know if we have it you look your Menu. This was the only place in Italy that people was super rude, they don’t have idea about what a good service is.

Dining at Felice in Testaccio means enjoying an authentic Roman experience, steeped in tradition, passion, and authentic flavors. This restaurant is a historic institution in the heart of the Testaccio neighborhood, and each dish proudly and expertly recounts the capital's gastronomic history.
We sampled a true triumph of Roman cuisine: cacio e pepe, carbonara, amatriciana, meatballs in tomato sauce, and sautéed chicory. Each course was impeccable, crafted with respect for tradition and high-quality ingredients.
The cacio e pepe, whipped up right at the table, is an absolute must: creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The carbonara was intense, with crispy bacon and a well-bound egg yolk, while the amatriciana impressed us with its richness and enveloping sauce. The meatballs in tomato sauce were tender and flavorful, and to accompany them, the classic pan-fried chicory, with just the right amount of bitterness and flavor.
All accompanied by an excellent Frascati wine, crisp and fragrant, which enhanced the flavors of the dishes without overpowering them.
The service was attentive, fast but never rushed, in an atmosphere that combines understated elegance with the conviviality typical of old-fashioned Roman trattorias.

I don’t think I ever tasted pasta this good in my life. We booked a table a week in advance based on a friend’s recommendation, who is a local. He said this place is legendary, and he is right.

We recently dined at Felice a Testaccio and, despite making a very late booking, the restaurant graciously accommodated us. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles from the staff, setting a positive tone for the evening.
However, the experience took an unexpected turn when the table next to us began smoking e-cigarettes indoors. They appeared to be very friendly with the staff laughing and joking with them. The staff also kept going over to the table to speak with them. After I raised my concern, the staff promptly asked them to stop, which I appreciated, but it left me wondering why such behavior was overlooked in the first place.
Though the service began on a high note, it felt a bit detached as the food was simply dropped onto the table with little fanfare. However, I have to say that the food itself was exceptional. The Carbonara and A’matriciana were both spectacular, truly embodying the essence of Roman cuisine. Each bite was a delight, making the trip to the restaurant worthwhile.
While there were a couple of service hiccups, the culinary experience at Felice a Testaccio was outstanding. The delectable dishes make it a must-visit spot for anyone looking to savor authentic Roman specialties.

What a disappointment! Terrible service! Total disregard. Slow, we had to ask for things three times. Average food! Strange atmosphere, dirty bathroom. I do not recommend.

The food was good, just don't expect service/ambiance to match their prices.
The wait wasn't long, and the dishes were delivered fairly quickly (it wasn't a weekday).
The wine list was extensive, although all were over €35/40.
